Came home from school the other day to find him in front of my house, was wondering if any of you had any idea what breed he is so i can put up flyers/ posters around town?

Not a breed, some sort of mutt.
Be vague on the papers to ensure that if the real owners come forward for him, that they're the real owners. Leave room for people to describe it because people will call you and say it's their dog just so they can have it.
