My dog died a while ago, and I've been wanting to get another dog for some time.
I was planning on getting a Catahoula or something similar, but I currently live with a family member who has some dog allergies.
What are some good hypoallergenic dog breeds that don't look ridiculous?
There is no true hypoallergenic dog, but here is a list that MAY not trigger your family member's allergies as bad.

I'm skeptical of any of the hairless dogs being all that hypoallergenic but I've heard that 'curly coated' dogs usually are ok with people with allergies.

That Wirehaired Vizsla looks awesome. Never even heard of them before.
Either that or a Basenji looks like something I would have a lot of fun with.
Consider The Following:
-You may not live with this person for the next 10-15 years, so get the dog you want
-This person can take a daily allergy pill if the allergy isn't severe, or simply go to the doctor for an allergy shot
-Vacuum the house more than once a week and don't let the dog on the furniture
