Shitty news source but there's some more photos and what they are right about is yes, they were nibbling away at a dead horse and that feral horses are a problem. I think the articles reporting on it are very exaggerated. One, these horses aren't as emaciated as they are saying, two there's snow on the ground so there's less food, and three,herbivores are well known to turn to eating meat when they have the opportunity or need a little extra in their diet. Cannibalism in animals is nothing new or shocking.
