Just moved to my new place over in ACT (Aus).
Anyone able to ID this spider?
It's hanging from a thread of web incase you can't tell :^)

Looks like a huntsman or wolf spider to me. Just an idea but you should probably do a little research on the local wildlife so you know what's safe and what to stay the hell away from.

Looks like a brown widow.

No. This is a Triangulate Cobweb Spider (Steatoda triangulosa), totally harmless.
Don't throw around potentially harmful spider ID's if you don't know how to ID spiders.

The legs and pattern are different and there's no hourglass (though the pictures don't show that).

Thanks. Is it feasible to keep her(?) for a bit or should I just let her out? It's been getting kind of cold at night (35-40).

I'd just let her go into an unused part of your home, they don't do very well outside in the colder months.
They're also excellent pest control. The Steatodas in my home always catch some little critter like a silverfish or even other spiders.
