Here's my cat Gygax. He's about two years old, and every day I'm grateful to have him.
My cat died under the Christmas tree Christmas morning. She wasn't even blind. Had a cist on her foot that vet could do nothing about because of her age. She was 22 years old. I turned 25 October. Had her since she was 8 weeks old. She was youthful until death. Never expected it. But at least she was balled up looking comfy in her favorite spot.

Scotty. Before him was a Scotty that I had for 19 years. This Scotty showed up at the house unexpectedly, and we took him in. It turned out he was from across the road, but by the time that was figured out, he was ours. His mom was a whore, who would go off for months at a time, come back and have a litter of kittens. Scotty just goes for days at a time. He's not very smart, but he makes up for that by being huge.
