I just put generic frontline on my about 3 hours ago...pet armour is what it's called i think. She's drooling at the mouth. I called the vet, he said to bathe her. I don't know how to do it, she hates water. Will washing her with a wash rag work? I need to get this off of her. Vet said if she's still
Drooling tomorrow to bring her in for a steroid shot.
I'm at a compete loss. She's never had a problem with topical flea meds before. I'm also confused because it's waterproof stuff, how the fuck is bathing her gonna get this off? The vet seems to think it will work. I thought it was absorbed through the skin.
I put generic frontline on my CAT. Really sorry for typos. Using my phone.
You got catnip?

If you check back. You can put them in the sink and run like a couple inches of water in the bottom. Then if you have one of those sprayer hoses they work well. If not just back and forth with the water from the sink and shampoo or whatever. Your gonna want some kind of shampoo if its waterproof. Then rinse. If it really resists grab it by the scruff of the neck. If never given bath before you might need someone to hold and someone to wash. Once they get over not getting out of the sink its not too bad
OP don't use over the counter stuff for fleas and ticks especially for cats, most of them have THOUSANDS of complaints and have killed many cats. It's deplorable that they're still on the shelves. My cat almost died from me using one (never did it again) cuz I started noticing neurological symptoms like you are right now.
What I did was wash the area I applied it off really well with Dawn dish soap. I didn't give them a complete bath but you need to get that crap off the area. Even though it's waterproof Dawn will get it off of her.
Good luck OP
