Reptile owners, do you ever kiss your pet? Not full on French kissing, mind you, more like little pecks on the head. What is your limit?
Pic related, one of my Beardies. I refrain from kissing them when they shed.

Off topic but that thing looks wicked to hold, are the spines actually sharp?

Not OP, but beardies are actually quite soft. Think fingernail hardness.
This thread is disgusting

You don't kiss your pets on their head, tuck them in and read them a bed time story?
What's wrong with you?
I used to kiss my roommate's Savannah monitors on the head. I would never kiss them on the mouth for obvious reasons but I'd give their head a peck when they were being snuggley
> kissing a reptile
You people do know that the fairy tales about frogs turning into princes aren't real. Right?

Can't you get salmonella from them, though?
>tfw your cat doesn't like being kissed. Not even licked.

Only if they are coated in feces on a regular basis.
Is about the same risk as getting E.coli from kissing a person, is just dependent on their hygiene.
Is a bigger deal in say, chickens because they shit frequently, messy, and often, they eat each other's poop, they shit directly on one another, they end up “bathing” in the stuff if their pen isn't clean enough. Reptiles are easier to manage when it comes to cleanliness.
No, I actually wash my hands before and after handling them, too. I don't want them to catch my germs.
