What is this?
Appears to be a moth
You need to give us more info about him you jack-off! Where'd you take this pick? What area/country/state do you live in or found the moth? How fucking big is he? You can't just ask a question and give little to no information, and expect us to answer.

WNY. It's wingspan is about the size of a small bird.
This guy's name is Cash. He is a pure bred black lab. He has a really high opinion of himself and acts like he's the best thing in the world. He is also a huge glutton and just inhales any food you give him. He's good at killing animals and keeps vermin off the property. What are your dogs like?
>>2141613
What critters has he killed?
OP here. This is my other dog Lucky. I've had her a lot longer than Cash. We found her on the road about 14 years ago and to this day have no idea what breed she is. Despite her small size she hd 9 pups with a yellow lab before it died and we got Cash. You might think shes cute but she is one mean bitch when it comes to fighting. When we first brought Cash here she absolutely hated him at first but now they and best friends and partners for life. I've alway seen it as a teacher student relationship where she teached him how to hunt and kill.

Rabbits, woodchucks, Raccoons (about two weeks ago he got one that almost bit a piece his ear off and bit my other dog on her foot, blood everywhere but they are okay same can't be said about the raccon), rats, mice, pheasents, and Possums (he doesn't kill them cuz he thinks they come back to life when they stop playing dead.)
Just cought this unknown, somewhat big spider.
Could anyone identify it, and is it dangerouse to pickup by hand?
Thnx /an
Take it to the vet you idiot
Ophiophagus hannah

No vet in my small town
Anybody know what kind of mushroom this is ? Worried that my kid might eat one and have a not so good time
you can not identify mushrooms from photo alone especialy young ones like that
liver failure is generally not a good time
Probably poison.
Time to spend a few hours outside if you think your kid will eat them.
So I saw this on the news last month. Apparently feline toxoplasmosis has been found to be the cause of death of marine mammals off of Hawaii.

I'm wondering if anyone has any data on marine mammals killed in other parts of the world by similar causes.
Hawaii has one of the most well managed albeit newer marine resources divisions, so either they found...

>cats killing wildlife like the vermin they are
How is this news?
>>2141003
it has nothing to do with cats on the adjacent land mass.
the parasite is carried all over by sardines and others.
>>2141320
Got any sources? Both articles attribute it to inshore runoff containing toxoplasmosis.
how can i comfort her? can i pet her? does she even care about me???
Squish it
>>2141002
hey fuck you
>>2140998
You can pick it up and prod her slightly I guess. She might get a little antsy though.
>does she even care about me???
uhh... sure I guess
Every night before I go to sleep, I kiss every one of my chickens on the top of their heads. They don't mind one bit. Hand raising them from chicks paid off, it's nice to approach them and not have them act standoffish. They've basically become some of my best friends.
Also, is it gay that I kiss my rooster?
Have fun dying of salmonella

Oh Anon, don't be such a stick in the mud.

Kill yourself cock sucker
What kind of bird is this? Thanks for the help.
put it back where you found it
>>2140667
I'd agree with this if it were a fledgeling but that's a nestling. Go to where you found it and look for a nest. If you can find one, put it back inside the nest. If you can't, you can take it to a wildlife rehab center if you want.
Don't try to take care of it yourself because it will die.

look at those fucking feathers and tell me how that's a nestling
Why is it that dogs can understand the concept of pointing, but non-human apes can't?
apes will never investigate something a human trainer is pointing at, even after training, but dogs will

>even after training
Well that's not true.
Dogs seem to figure out pointing intuitively, but apes can be taught the concept via training.
dogs look to wear other dog snouts are pointing
fingers are pointy
1+1
apes dont have pointy snouts
God-tier puppers. Here is my husky pupper, Cheza. She was 8 weeks old in this pic.
Someone post a pic to start this thread off.

More cats doing this pls
My Chihuahua just had puppies and won't stop trying to move them from the whelping box to my bed where she usually sleeps. I looked it up and saw that this is usually a matter of being unhappy with the whelping box, but I've done everything to make sure its fine. I think this might just be a matter of it trying to move them to somewhere she feels more comfortable. No matter what I do she just picks them up and scratches to get through whatever she can so she can get to my bed. I've tried just letting her lay on my bed to make her happy but she also freaks out if I take off the bed sheets, which is where she wants to lay them. I can't let her put the puppies down on the bed sheet, they'll suffocate. What the fuck do I do? Pic unrelated I just really need advice.
You can try not breeding your shitty dog.
Otherwise let her do what she fuckin wants. If your sheets are too lose then change them or try to encourage her somewhere else. You want to ease her stress. Since always have probably a BYB shit going on it shouldn't matter as long as they survive.
close the bedroom door.
Are these cruel, /an/?
I've been getting a lot of conflicting reports looking them up.
My neighbour walks her tervuren shepherd with one and she swears it's a blessing. She always recommends it when she sees me struggling with my dog on his regular buckle collar

>Can't control his pet dog.
What's wrong? Is it that time of the month or something?
There's some evidence that prolonged use can cause cervical issues in the neck and back, I generally do not recommend them.
Overall they are not meant to be a solution--just a training tool--but like most training tools, people slap them on their dogs and expect the the behavior to change with 0% effort.
Any of you ever had a pet baptized? I wanted to have it done for my cat since it would break my heart if he went to hell when he died, but my pastor refuses to do it, not sure what my options are at this point.
Allah is the one and only God.
Pets don't go to heaven or hell you roody-poo, they don't have souls.
>Christian silliness
For goodness sakes, those people don't even believe animals HAVE souls. All you have to do to ensure your cat's happiness in the afterlife is preserve its body and entomb it with food, toys, catnip and an armed guard of living slaves to protect it in the land of the dead.
if my doggo ever did that he'd be in trouble (unless I needed CPR)
>tfw you sleep and suddenly hear loud as fuck sniffing right into your ear
>>2136966
He usually doesn't wake me up unless he REALLY needs to go outside. Most of the time I guess he either waits for me or he'll just sleep until my alarm goes off.
