I need a pet to help with my depression and crushing loneliness.
My family is agaisnt having pets because they make the house smell awful and they leave hair everywhere.
I just want something to cuddle with and occupy my time when I'm home but I don't want to find vomit on my bed everyday after work.

Did she get into any human food? Especially anything in the onion family, such as garlic? If she did then this could be causing some serious problems with her thyroid, keep an eye on her if she gets worse.
In the meantime, call the vet office and ask to speak to an actual vet working on duty. Ask them if you can give your dog babies benadryl, you can give certain dogs low doses of it for serious allergy reactions, but the vet needs to tell you if sharpeis can have it, and how much.

I've been keeping rats for a few years now, but I'm up against a tough customer. I was looking for an adult who could defend herself against a pair of largish sisters, and eventually came across someone on Gumtree who wanted to rehome their adult doe because she kept beating up their new babies. I'm kinda new to this board, but I'd like ask this, my mother has 5 dogs (4 poodles and a greyhound-like one). The garden is quite big, and they go around, running and barking the minute you let them out of the house.. I mean INCESSANT BARKING, really fucking annoying.
The neighbours are complaining and my mom antagonizes them all. Before any of the dogs gets poisoned (or my neighbour for any case) is there a way to calm them? Have any of you experienced something like this? Do those shocking collars work?

Those bark collars and speakers that react to barking and play a high pitched sound that annoys the dog- they work.
If the dog is especially stupid it will take a couple days to figure out what's going on and they might bark more until they get it.
It kind of fucks them up though, they whine and do that stupid clawing at the ground with paws extended thing a lot more when they can no longer bark. I guess barking is a stress reliever or something.
Also, the animal rights meme has tricked everyone....

My parents went to get food for their snake and they ended up getting a rat thats wayyy to big the snakes a hatchling and now theyre letting my little little sister (8y/o) keep it as a pet. it doesnt have a wheel or toys or substrate or a cage or anything and i really know its gonna suffer in this empty sterlite tub its gonna die they dont even have a real water bottle for it its just got a litte tray of water. They're difficult to train, have high requirements for exercise and mental stimulation and they're loud as fuck and destructive if you don't meet those requirements. They're also escape artists. They're about as cat-like as a Husky.
Unless you're on a massive property that your dog can freely roam, even the most "cat-like" independent or low energy dog is going to ideally get a 30 minute walk daily, with exceptions only being made for really old dogs.
