Alright guys tell me your opinion about my current situation.
>have kid young >now 40 >son is 18 >live in a rual area with a small house and a huge gated yard >have 2 dogs and 2 cats >dogs are both mini poodles and cats are small (don't know anything about cat breeds) >never tried to train are dogs before >son now... There's no reason for him to get a brand new dog when you have two untrained already. Make him take responsibility for them and if you see an improvement in their behaviour consider getting a new one? Or make him get a job and pay for all pet expenses himself
Anyone know anything about this? I have 2 dogs, and only one of them is well-mannered enough to sleep in the bedroom at night. The other finds and eats dryer sheets, licks whatever body part of ours she can reach from the side of the bed, or starts trying to play rough with the 'good' dog that is trying to sleep. Nothing you can actually *punish* her for, just harmless mischief.
Will I be birthing a serial killer if I allow the 'good' one to sleep in the bedroom and not allow the other?
Don't get me wrong, the 'bad' one has her... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Thanks for the link. I read through it. It seems to suggest that at the very least, a dog's capacity for jealousy is the same as a 6 month old baby's. So I imagine the long-term effects of another dog being favored would be detrimental.
So I guess neither of them will get the bedroom. Poor pups. Oh well.
Pomeranians will grow to the size of the tank you keep them in if you make sure they always have Timothy grass available so their stools are nice and watery. Also, there is a new hypo trans morph on the market which was bred in Australia, where the breed originated from.
I posted earlier this week about Damon, who was having sudden pains. We got the results back.
Seriously though, a malignant tumor in his anal gland. I don't know if it has spread-I don't know that it matters. Even if it hasn't, ~2,000 for surgery is too high a price to pay for a 12 year old dog, even if I could come up with the money somehow.
Really, my question is what do I do now that he will never be better? How long do I wait before I put him down? Do I wait at all?
I've tried searching and searching for a proper answer, but opinions seem split. I've heard "all bones are fine since splintering is rare", "never small bones but huge bones are safe", "only pork or beef bones and only raw", "never pork bones", and "never ever feed any bones whatsoever". It seems like raw bones might be a bit safer, since there's not much of a chance of splintering...? I got a natural pork femur bone specifically packaged as a dog chew, and gave it to this... Not sure if this is the right board and i just wanted to share this somewhere >hanging out in backyard at 12 ish >hear dog scrambling in the back >call her >doesnt come >get up to take a look >she approaches me with a fucking possum in her mouth and drops it >im freaking out and get the dog to stay the fuck away >call dad Comment too long. >>2167397 Fuck me now that i think of it it was alive the whole time. The dog probably just scared it and it played dead so the dog brought it back. >>2167399 I am new to this board is this a bad place to share my experience?
>live in the country >have dog >find possum/coon/groundhog/fox carcass It happens OP. You don't want to attract wildlife so make sure all trash and food is secure. Keep all shots up to date for your dog. Pay more attention early in morning and late at night, that is typically when something comes around.
So I was taking my dog outside before bed and on her way back she smacked her face on a wooden porch post running full speed. Luckily her eye is unharmed and it only scraped off skin under the eye. What can I do for her tonight before I take her to the vet tomorrow?
>>2167290 Calm her down as much as you can. Use hydrogen peroxide to sterilize the wound, and keep applying pressure before and after the sterilization to make sure the tissue and blood do not move more than they should.
How can I carpet my Aquarium? I really want to do this and I need help. Any tips/answers/advice would be highly appreciated >What are the best plants/moss for this?(fast growing/hard to kill). >Can I grow some without any additional products? >do I grow them in my established tank or the"dry method"? >If my tank is already established and I do grow the carpet with dry method outside the tank, is it safe to transfer to my tank once it grows... >>2167281 >>What are the best plants/moss for this?(fast growing/hard to kill). Growth rates are going to depend on your lighting, ferts, and CO2. Moss is going to be slower than other plants, but it's among the easiest if you tie it to wood. >>Can I grow some without any additional products? No ferts or CO2?
