The biggest mammoth outweighs the biggest T-rex by like 4-8 tons and it could protect itself with its tusks I guess. Could potentially charge and knock the T-rex over, no?

Is there a land based predator that wolverines don't stand a decent chance against? They have confirmed kills against moose and polar bears.

Bears can kill them easily. So can wolves.
>polar bears
lmao killing cubs isn't that impressive.
>>
Yeah, pretty much any extremely large land predator.
Anything involving wolverines killing bears is just a freak thing. They aren't capable of reliably killing a bear in a fight or anything.

Hey /an/! I don't know if this is the right place for thus but I need a quick advice on my cat.
My kitty has just got back home a few days ago after being missing out for more than two weeks.
He has two big abscesses on his head that "popped" yesterday without me touchingit. They seem quite bad.
What should I do? I can't go see a vet at the moment and probably won't in a week.
Pls halp

I've had cats with similar problems. Those things won't heal on their own, they need to be cleaned out by a vet. Like seriously, they'll ooze and stink for months or years if you don't do something about them.

see a vet. It's not a big deal. Here in the US I think I paid $90 last time this happened. The vet will clean it out and give the aminal some antibiotics. Totally worth the money.
>>
Keep your cat indoors where it won't get into fights with other animals, contract diseases and oozing, rotting abscesses. The likely hood of more vet bills for an outdoor cat is significantly higher than that for an indoor one, and if you absolutely must feel the need to let your cat outdoors so you don't have to take care of it as much - the very least you should be able to do is be able to provide proper vet care for when you expose it to unnecessary and often devastating risks.

I found a bird who seems to be sick/can't fly. Going to take him to the vet in the morning. Not sure what he is. Looks kinda like a pigeon but he seems too big and isn't gray. Anyone know?

It looks like a fancy pigeon. Maybe the offspring of a lost racer or something?
>>
King pigeons---they're often breed for meat which is why they don't fly well....
>>
It's a pigeon aka rock dove. Domesticated ones have long been released/escaped into the wild, and interbreed with their wild cousins. It's not unusual to see 'unusual' colored pigeons among normal looking pigeons. They do just fine in urban areas just as their wild brothers unless they're one of those really fucked up looking ones(basically pugs of the wolf world).

It looks fine from the picture, but keep us updated. Pigeons can be total bros OP so you might want to consider building a coop. Alternatively if you can't or can't find...

141 KB,
Can someone look over my design and make sure my plan isn't fucking retarded?

I was going to get 4 20 gallons and hook them all together side by side using fish bridges like in the picture. Then to get decent flow I was going to get a canister filter and attach the intake in the leftmost tank and the output in the far right. The water should just flow in a big loop and be fine, right?

Also I was hooking up a DIY chiller to it. Would something like this need an additional pump because of the tubing length, or no?

I have no idea how that would work, but that is some fucking cool as hell shit OP and I hope it goes off flawless for you
>>
>>2042634
the main drawback to your setup that I can see is that evaporation loss will lower the water level and if it goes low enough you'll lose siphon on the bridges and the filter will pump the contents of the last tank onto the floor. This will particularly be a problem if you go on vacation or ignore the tanks for a week or two.

In marine tanks with sumps we get around this problem by using a peristaltic dosing pump to add topoff water. Often the topoff pump will be run by a float switch.
>>
>>2042636
Thanks, I'll post pictures if it works. My goal is to have a different species of newt in each tank, and to put screening over the opening to the bridge so fish can get through but the newts can't.

>>2042638
Yeah, I'd have to definitely be careful about evaporation, but figure it shouldn't be too big of an issue if I put the openings to the bridges like 6 inches underwater. Sumps always scared me, but since everything here should be under...
