Hey /an/ I think my dog is really sick and she keeps throwing up a thick siliva substance and I can't take her anywhere because I don't have a car and I'm home alone. I think I might have to put her down soon /an/
She is currently resting and breathing a little faster than normal
Pic related it's her
Color of vomit? Eating? drinking?
>>2057056
Slightly pinkish but has stopped for about 15 minutes. She eats wet pedigree blended with a little water since she can't chew and just regular water but she doesn't drink it often
>>2057058
Is she eating and drinking at all? Could be blood mixed in the vomit, which could account for the thickness,or food, depending on its color. You should try and call someone, get them to take you to the vet ASAP. Also, call the vet and let them know what's going on, ask questions, etc.
Sup /b/
So at my work we started testing our products on dogs. I feel really bad about it and I'm not sure it's even legal. Should I just quit, or could I talk my employer into other testing methods?
>>2057026
Well, maybe if you actually went into some detail we could help. You can't just present an extremely vague situation and expect us to determine the humanity and legality of what's going on.

>yfw OP works for a dog food company
Nah they do it where I work too. No animal is exempt from testing except for possibly great apes who have been deemed "people" or whatever.
They have monkeys too.
Hey guys, iv never posted here but was wondering if any of your pets have ever had the problem my dog occasionally has.
Iv had a morkie since it was a puppy and its a year old now but like one a month ittl start swaying around and shaking its head and be super tired for a few hours but wake up the next morning fine. The first time it happened we took her to the vet and spent a a few hundred on tests but they found nothing, we also thought it might be eating something but ruled that out too.
Any of you guys know what might be up with it?
>>2056756
I'm sure they should've, but have they checked it's ears thoroughly?
>buying a shitty designer mutt from a sketchy BYB
What did you think would happen?

>morkie

some kind of shark egg
G here. Can anyone identify?
It's some worm in a shell.
>>2056716
Moves fast as fuck. Taking more pics.
It is what it is: it's a worm/larvae that made a shell to protect itself through winter. Certain larval insects do this. It probably found it's way indoors by accident. Put it back outside where it belongs.
What kind of worm is it?
Is there a more disgusting dog breed?
>>2056706
>>2056706
Most purebreds are pretty disgusting.
Huskies have autoimmune diseases and get lesions, glaucoma, and other issues. Your dog falls apart as it's immune system eats itself.
>>2056706
That looks like a poorly bred boxer.

My bearded dragon is a happy little guy :) post pictures of your happy pets :)))
>>2056696
How can you tell a lizard is happy? Do they act more affectionate or do something to express it?
>>2056758
Not op but lizards express happiness just by being relaxed, not skiddish, well fed, warm, and healthy. So not necessarily "happy" but content instead. It's still a nice feeling seeing your lizard bro so comfortable with your presence and their surroundings though.

Tail on my beardie goes up when he's happy, and he'll sit there with his mouth open too.

I've been feeding my dog kibble (Blue Buffalo) according to this:
http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-reviews/dry/5-star/
But I'm currently wondering whether adding home cooked food would be more beneficial towards her. I do feed her Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Frozen Diets as well but was wondering if there was more variety I could add to her diet.
>>2056586
Keep going with the raw, but incorporate other brands for variety. Also look into adding some unique meat cuts, and definitely do some raw meaty bones at least three times per week to help maintain dental hygiene.
As you get more confident, you can look into increasing the amount of homemade raw you feed. The general guidelines for formulating a prey-model diet are pretty easy: 80% muscle meat w/ fat (aim for around 20% of this proportion in fat), 10% bone, 5% liver, 5% other secreting organs; aim for at least...

I'm looking for a dog but I have no prior experience with pets.
I go to uni for 4 or hours a day +hm, jog every day and live in a 60m^2 department and I'm looking for a loving, easy to train dog
Any suggestions?
Un galgo.

Sun dog. You happy now?
Found a cat in my shed and seeing as the closest house is 2km away, I'm thinking it might be sticking around.
How do I befriend it since it's such a qt. I was thinking of just leaving out milk and food for it and maybe it'll get friendly, I also have a mouse problem it could help with too.
Anything else I can do to make it my petfu?
Feed it and dont chase after it
>>2056494
Ignore it or give it milk.
>>2056510
It would help if the cat can see you drop the food off so it knows it's from you and not just magically appearing
And yeah, the cat comes to you, don't go after the cat.
I can't think of a name that sticks! I've gone over about 3 billion different names in my head. Thought this might help.
He's a german shepherd/ great pyrenees mix so he'll get to be about 100lbs.
Any thoughts?

Why do animals missing one eye anyways have their socket scarred over? When people have one missing the the socket is still open and they have their eyelids and all, so why don't animals?
They sew it up brah
>>2056442
This. It's better to just sew it up instead of having an open pocket. It heals faster and better, and there's no reason for it to be open unless they're getting a prosthetic.
depends if it's total eye loss or just damage sometimes they leave it and it's just a fucked milky eye
Which is way more disturbing
