I want to get a dog, the problem is I live in an apartment (kinda big one) and I'll have to physically get dressed, get down the stairs and take the dog out every time he needs to do his business (which I suppose would be ~5 times a day) and that sounds boring and a chore, it's not like I just open the door and he goes to the back yard.
Any alternatives or similar experiences? Am I doomed to never own a dog as a result of my boredom?

Came across this yesterday, but didn't try to catch it for fear of disease. What are the chances of getting something from armadillos?

close to zero if you don't touch or eat them.

the odds go up considerably otherwise.

So, i recently saw a video of someone who posted pics about two monsters torturing a puppy to death, after that i didnt knew how to handle it, at first i though that i could search for more information about the case but there is no info about that.

My big issue is, how do some of you can handle this feeling of helplessness, knowing that you cant help or at least do something.?

Most people don't have emotional connections to anything lower than them. Plus humans are extremely brutal and opportunist creatures to begin with, hell they will even rape their own babies if given the chance.

You might not be able to change what happened in that specific instance but there's many things you could do to help animals

You should remeber that humans are capable to do everything wrong por right

So I've been browsing Carnivora Forums board "Interspecies Conflict" where I've seen match ups between humans and various gaia. Now I wanna hear which animal /an/ think is the very limit of what a barehanded human could defeat in a death match. Examples could be human vs grey wolf, human vs python, human vs chimp etc. For the sake of the discussion, let's agree on the human in question being in peak physical condition with expert fighting skills and knowledge on general animal behavioral patterns.

grizzly bear. it's happened. look it up. for big predators, I think that really tops them all.
anything more would have to be smarter, like a chimp, and we all know what happens when chimps start fighting humans.

Male cat born January 24th; he was the runt of the litter and named Bacon. When is the time for shots, flea & tick treatment and... sadly, neutering; is there a way to just manage/train or outdoorify this awesome little guy so he gets to keep his nuts? He's a good genetic specimen of felis catus.

>Also, regarding fleas, when does flea season usually start up here in Connecticut? I kinda forget.

>Older female here also, identically colored, sniffs him sometimes but gets angry at him usually, growls, hisses,...

Fuck off. Get his balls chopped off. His life will be better, and your life will be better. He won't live in a state of perpetual sexual frustration, and in exchange, he won't spray like a madman and make your entire house reek of cat piss. Get him fixed you queerlord.
>>
>>2118193
But, when: now?
>>
>>2118189

Its time for all of that now. Typically this is done around 3rd month. Some places do it a little early at 2 months. If I did the math right, Bacon should be around 4 months, in which case he's ready to go.

/an/, I fucked up real bad.

I don't know anything about rodents, so maybe I'm just projecting, but this I'd making me feel sick.

I was walking around my property, and I saw a bird fly away from the ground before me. There was a small rat. Cutest little thing I've seen.

It was writhing around, and, looking at it, I saw its forepaw was torn up. It was writhing, and eventually just convulsing, so I kept watch of it.
I tried to give it something to eat, but it ignored the walnut I offered, and then I realized that its little face was cut...

The rat is probably dead by now bro, or will be within a few minutes.

If it's not, you could take it to a vet to have it euthanized humanely (if it actually is in as bad shape as you think it is).

It's sad but there is no need to flagellate yourself for what you did. The rat was already maimed by the time you got there. You didn't intend to harm the rat. It just happened.
