High school is crap. Finished my first year of college; college is way better. I feel free - no one gives a fuck about anyone. It's really all you and what you want to make yourself.
I look back on all the dumbshit I did in high school and most likely no one gives a shit about that past anymore. I remember fingering my friend on the dance floor in high school, I remember getting suspended for witnessing a bullying (lol), no one remembers that only me. So who gives a shit.
There's a social stigma in high school, probably because you're with the same group of people for 4 years of your life. After that, it's nothing but a memory. Looking back, I wish I did more dumb shit, but just get over it. Eventually you'll realize no ones opinion matters

ill admit thats really awful and he definitely needs to drop that idea as soon as possible, but seriously take it from someone whos had decades of opportunities to 'escalate' and has never done so, and ive never had anyone to ever talk to this about.
