Any advice on how to find a full time job? Despite being as old as I am, I never had a job at all and I feel like I am completely lost mentally for this shit.

How old are you? I never had a job either and I'm 24 haha.

28. All I want is something basic like an assembly/factory work.

the only motivating thing about factory work is the money
otherwise its just mindless, repetitive work that makes the minutes go slow and your body go numb in the process, its not a good place to work in if you dont have any job experience since it will drain your soul pretty fast.
try finding some janitor work or similar, you have a daily routine but instead of packing sardines 8 hours straight you may be scrubbing floors for 2 hours, dusting for 1 hour, refill toilet papers and necessaries for 1 hour, change light bulbs and switches for another and then maybe just do some facility project for the rest of the day. its way easier to keep up and not make you loose your soul in the process

I have also heard stuff from people who used to be Janitors about how Janitorial work is soul crushing.

Finding factory work is the easiest thing you could do. Find a factory and ask for an application form at the desk. It's that easy.
If there is no factory anywhere near you are fucked.
I worked at a seafood factory for 4 years. Now I am trying to find a new job and it seems impossible. When I find a job I could actually do it asks references. You simply can not submit an application without a reference. I'd have to call my last employer and ask them to give a reference that would probably be bad since I hated that job.

every kind of work crushes your soul in some way
