What do I do if I don't have money for me or my cat? My cat has shitty hard food but won't eat it because he always eats that canned shit and I don't even have a dollar to go grab a slim jim.

If shit gets bad enough you can always go around the back of bakeries and grocers to the bins (not as bad as starving). They tend to throw out a lot of food that's in good condition.
It's cat food he'll eat it if he's hungry enough. He's playing you, it's what cats do.
Shit cat food will rek your cat's urinaty tract m8. And no food at all is even worse. Why do you have a pet if you can't afford it?
How did you get in this situation?
Soak the food in water for a minute or so before putting it in the cat's bowl. You can increase the soaking time to a limited degree, but you have to be careful or it'll fall apart.
This is far from ideal, but I take your wording to mean that you ordinarily have enough money to get the canned stuff, so this may tide the cat over until you have enough again.
