Tell your "friend" that the risk for getting STDs from oral sex is relatively low, but he should get tested anyway. You can get reliable results after:

I'd like to add that you can't really tell if someone has AIDS just by looking at them, so "the guy looked clean" isn't a valid excuse. If either him or you are planning to do this (sex with online strangers) in the future, try and make sure you know that the people you're doing it with are clean.
