I don't accept your premise.
Just because you have too few emotional and intellectual resources to keep you from being bored when sober now doesn't mean that you can't discover new ones that will give life and interest to a sober existence. Indeed, rediscovering what life is like sober might open your eyes to new things to fight boredom.

Drinking culture (if you can call it that) is basically just a standing challenge of how much can you drink before you die.
Now that you know, you need to fucking stop. There are other ways to have fun, your depression is probably caused by your drinking so go to therapy and get fixed, and treat your body with more respect.
