Not sure if anyone here knows anything about how the cartoon industry works but I thought I'd ask.
> showed artwork to someone pitching cartoon show to major network
>He said he liked my work and asked to storyboard the first episode to get greenlit.
>He also asked if it's greenlit if I could become the art director.
I would love to do both and they agreed to pay me for the storyboards I do for the first ep but I'm not entirely sure how the business part of this works out.
Does it seem dickish to ask to be paid for the storyboards of the 1 episode they need if they're also offering me an art director position?
Also, what kind of agreement should I write up with what kind of clauses for a situation like this? Should I make a contract just asking to be paid for the storyboards? Or should it include the art director agreement?
