thank you. yeah, she texts back more or less straight away and she often sends paragraphs. i just find it a bit odd because she used to always text me first.

Same here. My friend stopped texting first and we hardly speak now but she's got a lot going on. She did express her disappointment that it always seems to be her that makes the efforts (it was a general comment but I feel like it was aimed at me) and she told me a couple of times to message her. Lucky for me she's upfront about things like that, but I'm so shit at conversation I just never know what to say. We used to message for hours before but now it's like she isn't that bothered. Sometimes I feel like she wouldn't even care if we don't talk again.

I'm in the same situation except with a guy and we're not dating (yet), not sure what to make of it.

well the girl i am dating, i normally message her asking how she is and what she is up to, this normally creates enough of a reply from her to create a conversation. Normally girls are talking to a few different guys. There have been times where i have been in platonic relationships with people who i met online, and we stopped speaking for a few reasons.

That might be it... He's also very busy with exams at the moment. Whenever I talk to him he seems cool and interested, asks questions and everything, just doesn't initiate.
