How do I find out if I am black listed
Is it easier to do a name change before or after leaving America.

If you've done nothing to be blacklisted for, chances are you're not. Unless you've had visa / immigration trouble in the past or are a terrorist, you're not on a watch list or no fly list. As for changing your name, who cares?

As for black list, I'm just curious is their an actual list with names I can look at.

You would have to file a FOIA request to check if your name is on the list.

Actually, that won't work. You won't know if you're on the list until you actually try to board a plane.
I can't really imagine that simply changing your name would work. Surely they have anticipate that?
