So I suffer from extreme anxiety and I'm already going to start medication, but as of right now I have a case where I cannot sleep some days because of it, I don't work on things anymore because of the responsibility it bears, and I ruminate until I get headaches. My main problem though is that there are days where I cannot focus because my mind will be anxious from small things and things from the past as well as current things and for whatever reason it'll just keep happening until I pass out. Any advice and tips to deal with this? They say an idle mind is the devils workshop but right now I honestly don't have anything to do until I start my college semester.

Keep yourself distracted consistently. Play a grindy game or do something that requires some level of concentration. Listen to calm/feel good music and drink lots of camomile tea. Escapism is your friend.
