What are the signs, traits, behaviors, looks that make a girl see a guy as a potential problem...

Im not talking about like someone she will be repulsed by, I am asking about like the red flags girls see in guys they may or are attracted too?
I guess what I am also asking is like how girls are attracted to bad boys or whatever, but where is the cut off, what is too much, and other variables in this topic
>>
>>17336014
Any kind of promiscuity is basically a no-go for me. I don't like any body modifications either. Drug use (including alcohol) is also a big red flag or deal breaker honestly.

Basically every red flag a /pol/lock would have for a girl, I have for guys.
>>
>>17336014
Wearing long sleeves in inappropriate weather.
>>
Getting attached too fast and acting lovey dovey in a short span of time is a huge turn off.
>>
>>17336014
>if he has no male friends
>if he treats his parents like shit (especially the mother)
>if he has temper tantrums or angers easily
>if he's close with his exes or has a female bff
>if he cant take care of himself/mamas boy/lives disgustingly (I've dated guys who didn't know how to do laundry back in high school)

That all is pretty much the sane for girls though, just reversed genders. Anything else I can think of isn't specific enough to apply to men, but both sexes.
>>
>>17336054
That perfectly describes my dad RIP
>>
>>17336054
I agree with absolutely all of yours, but especially

>if he has temper tantrums or angers easily

This one is huge for me. I cannot be around people with bad tempers.

>>17336054

>he has no male friends
this is me, check

>he treats his parents like shit
I mean everyone does at one point. Even being born is a big slap on the face for both parents involved. I guess this one is relative.

>temper tantrums
not high T enough for this, unfortunately

>exes, female bff
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA fuck off normie

>mamas boy
CHECK

Well did I pass? I mean, I have exactly (x modulo 2) if x is an even number of friends.
>>
>>17336054
>>if he's close with his exes or has a female bff
That's just insecurity on your part.
>>
>>17336014
I spent my 20s as something a few steps past being a "bad boy" and I have a fair amount of experience watching girls go from interested, to infatuated, to frightened.

The tipping point seems to be when it becomes clear that a guy isn't misunderstood or rebelliously flouting social convention but is rather genuinely capable of and comfortable with violating important social rules. Every girl likes a guy who will step up to someone who grabbed their ass in a bar, but when someone actually gets hurt they begin to back away.
>>
>>17336084
Not that anon, but there are plenty of guys without female bffs and who aren't close to their exes, and plenty of girls who don't have male bffs and aren't close to their exes, so I see no problem with them having a preference for and choosing each other.
>>
>>17336084
I don't disagree, but I've experienced a guy being friends with his ex and then he tried getting back with her during our relationship.

People aren't all the same, but being wronged makes you cautious.
>>
>>17336037
When I was insecure about my skinniness but wanted to wear something besides polos that made me look like a kid I used to do this, now I just wear plain t-shirts.
>>
AHAHAHA. Women don't know what they want.

>lol I don't like it when he gets angry easily?

Lots of people get angry easily. What your really saying is you probably infuriating to be around because chances are you're an entitled white American milennial who thinks the world should be handed to you on a silver platter. Any man with self-respect would slap the shit out of you if pull your new wave feminist bullshit which is why you basically described a spineless cuck to give you attention.

Sage this piece of shit thread. I really hope Islam becomes the new religion of the west, that seems to be the only thing that'll keep women in line. Seriously, it's really telling when the only thing that can deter a woman from cheating and acting like a spoiled princess is being stoned to death.
>>

Thats easy enough to change.
>>

Skinniness. Hit a gym hard and eat more food. If you're having trouble with lean mass, hire a trainer for a few sessions so you can learn how to encourage hypertrophy. If you want to shortcut look into SARMs.
>>
>>17336167
If we went back to the good old days (or the Middle East now) where men could just slap ho's to keep them in line, that'd be great
>>
>>17336171
Don't got money for that, I could apply for food stamps like a nigger but I can't get gym stamps.

Theres your problem. Find an old fashioned gym. Avoid machines (cable machines are fine), focus on dumbbells and barbells, hire someone to teach you proper form on deadlift, bench, squat, and clean. Look into your diet. Accept that its going to take time. Ask the huge guys for help and be clear about your goals, most of us are happy to see someone making an effort.

i wear long sleeves whenever i can. i feel like sometimes all women see are my jacked forearms from lifting and bmx. my body is definitely more vascular than the average fit guy at 10%. i'm on creatine and i drink a ton of water aside from that substance anyways because of this dry desert. so all of this stacks on to me being more vascular by default.

Why not fuck off to facebook and other sites that were actually created for you.

Why is your hatred of the introverted and socially awkward so intensely seething that you have to invade what few havens they have just to ruin them too? Will you not be happy till everyone you deem as "not normal" like you has killed themselves from the extensive endless persecution and bullying? I hope you realize even if that happened, you'd just have to find some other group of people to hate and fuel your sadistic witch hunts.
>>

/r9k/ is flooded in excess by Staceys and Chads alike. My god, never seen such a massed concentration of failed normalfags, miscers, tumblrettes, and above all and in the greatest majority amongst any board, real live redditors.

/r9k/ attracts the highest normalcy population because normals love the illusion of self-deprecation, because it bolsters their pathetically shallow selves. This is where they go to share "cringe" stories when it's really just a front for anonymous bullying.

It sounds like you frequent /r9k/, desu. A true robot who lived there a long, long time ago would know that /r9k/ died many years ago. What remains is actually the most cancerous board on 4chan by a long margin, worse than /b/ ever was. Where you belong, actually.

>calling me a newfag

Buckle up kid, I can smell the Reddit on your cheetos-dust-covered fingertips all the way here from my own computer. You probably learned about 4chan from /r/4chan getting featured or something.

>4chan has always been a normie site

Nope. It was established as an alternative site for fans of Japanese anime. I came here around 2007-8 as a /b/tard and I learned my place as a retarded underaged newfag. These days newfags don't even lurk anymore. They just want to post-ironically "meme" like the cool cats at Reddit do.

Anyways, my memory ain't so good but /r9k/ used to be a pretty damn good board. Low traffic, high tripfags. For "gentlemen." Don't even know why I'm telling you this, you probably don't even care.
>>
This applies to women as well, but these are things I look out for:
>picky eater
Not including allergies or vegetarians/w.e(assuming they're not annoying about it)
>argumentative
>shut down other people's ideas
Ex: friend had an ex who'd bitch and moan about doing anything that wasn't something he immediately thought might be interesting or fun which goes to
>doesn't like to try new things
It's fine if you don't like something, but at least try. Said ex bitched and moaned about several events before he actually went and tried and had fun, continued to botch and moan unless it was something he wanted to do
>unwilling to compromise
Said friend would compromise and do things he wanted to do, but he never did the same for her except said three times in 6 years of dating
>whines or tries to guilt into sexual things
Whining isn't sexy, and trying to make someone feel bad until they give in isn't going to do anything good for a relationship.
There's a big difference between that and "hey I really want to try X" and discussing through it like an adult if they're uncomfortable. Then you decide if it's something you can't go without if they don't want to do it. Sexual compatibility is important, but you shouldn't try to make your partner compatible if there's no agreeable compromise.
>appearance
Don't dress like a slob. A set of business casual "uniforms" are excellent if you don't care about fashion or have no sense of style.
Make sure things fit properly, and get a flattering haircut and clean facial hair.
Look like you give at least enough shit to be presentable when you're going out.
That faded graphic t shirt and cheap I'll fitting jeans make you look like an unkept child. If you don't look like you have a little bit of pride, no one week respect you. Don't be a slob.

Not them. Personally I've never had a good craft beer and I have no interest in it.
However a guy/girl with a hobby they enjoy is attractive.
As long as you're not an annoying twat hipster about it, it's all good. Also if it's your only hobby or main thing you talk about, then you need to reach out and broaden your horizons.
That goes for any hobby/"enthusiast"

Sexist jokes (different political views in general)
Being rude to random people (waiters, old people)
Flirting too much, being too much of a people pleaser (yet I was once in a relationship with a guy like that)
Having feelings in the past for a girl he's still close friends with (unfortunately I found this out only after I started dating my current bf, I wouldn't date him if I knew that before, now he's extremely faithful and in love with me but I'm an insecure pathetic fuck so it's difficult lol)
No friends of any gender (I think friends are very important in life and I managed to have quite a few with my social anxiety, so I'm suspicious of people who don't have any)
>>

>>
>>17336014
Too many one night stands. Going to strip clubs way too often. No real life goals. Like "I want to be a proskater" or "I want to rap." Like, I mean, if their hobbies you love, that's cool. But I don't like guys who assume they'll get rich or famous quick.

A bajillion followers on social media you don't know. Anyone who treats their parents disrespectfully. Although there are some exceptions if you're parents were abusive. Reckless spending habits. Obsessed with brand names or in general, appearance overall.

Drug use that exceeds the occasionaly use of marijuana. Drinking to an extent is fine, but if you're borderline alcoholic or *need* alcohol to have fun, no.

Clingy, obsessive, possessive are just a straight no. I'm very open about expectations from the get go. I know some girls like it, but if you tell me you love me in the first 6 months even, I'm just like how. As far as anger issues, I can handle that. I'm easily frustrated too. But when it reaches red flag zone is if he takes it out on me when it's not about me, if he needs drugs/alcohol to calm himself, or if it's constantly every day, it's too draining.

Either a deep closeness, or a deep hatred for exs just implies to me that their are still strong feelings.
>>
25/F here, obviously this list applies to guys my age. College kids need not panic.

Annoying little red flags you notice right away:
>Drives a piece of junk car. Old is okay, unreliable/falling apart is not
>Asks you to spot him/borrow money to pay for date
>wears basketball shorts or flip flops on a date
>bad breath, bad hygiene

Couple questions:
1. How pathetic would it be to quit my job and move back in with family to attend school full-time at 26? I currently have a dead-end job making 30k that is full-time only, and i don't want to do it forever. Planning on studying easy-mode engineering (industrial or civil)I may get a part-time job for some extra cash too. Parents giving free room+board if I go back.

2.if I do it what's the best way to get rid of my furniture? I have a bedrooms worth that I would no longer need for the next few years.

3.should I do it? Restart completely in community college in my mid 20s? I have the aptitude for it, but maybe 2 years in tradeschool might be better. I already have credits piled up from the last time i tried about 6 years ago, so it's probably a year less of schooling.

I'm anxious about it.

Oh hey, that was meant to be a new thread, but anyone who wants to answer feel free
>>
>>17337535
Hahaha well since you posted...

1. If you're only making 30k at a dead end job, DO IT. That sucks and you don't want to spend your life doing that! Absolutely go back to school and secure a better future for yourself! You will be so happy that you did.

2. You can either:
A. Sell as much as you can, for as much as you can. Craigslist, tagsale sites online, OfferUp
B. Store it, but only if you think you'll want it when it's time to move back out. Keep it in your parent's attic or basement if you can or you'll have to rent storage space somewhere.

3. 26 is not that old, and you should definitely take advantage of the fact that you can live with your parents for free while going back to school. Go back full-time and after 2 years of community college, try to transfer into a good university near you. You might have to commute up to an hour but it will be worth it if you have a degree from a better school. Do as well as you can, make friends with your professors, so when you graduate they will forward emails from companies to you who are looking for new grads to hire.

I'm speaking from experience. It might be miserable but it will make you a better person and you will be so happy you went through that when you're living on your own, making decent money and working at a job you love.

What if he has male friends, but he only sees them once every few years?
What if he doesn't treat his parents like shit, but rather just avoids them?
What if he angers easily, but does not ever become violent?

I am an attractive guy who has had several LTR's (including now), but I never realized these were a big deal. I think all of this stems from my general disinterest and impatience when it comes to people. The good news is I can fake it in my career so I make over $100K a year in a people profession.

The biggest red flag for me is a guy who is trying to go way too fast. its historically proven that its a requirement.

I judge a guy by the company he keeps. If his friends treat women poorly or cheat on their girlfriends then it is a dealbreaker to me. You are a sum of the company you keep. Whether you realize it or not you will take on their traits, so you'd do well to surround yourself with positive influences.

Also, if he treats his family poorly. If I'm to eventually become his family, that's how he'll one day treat me.

>>
>>17338828
>Then why having a female bff or being friend with an ex be one?
Because a lot of people have poor boundaries. There have been a lot of examples where people get drunk as an excuse and make a "mistake".

My best friend is a woman but I understand it might make a woman I'm dating uncomfortable. Accordingly I make reasonable gestures to help her feel more comfortable about it, sometimes something as just letting her see what you guys are talking about can go a long way. A red flag isn't a deal breaker, it's just something someone might be concerned about without more information.

>>17338836
That's reasonable, every time I just heard that phrase I just thought the woman had something more flashy in mind. People have told me a few times I "dress like a dad" and I've never been sure how to feel about that. Jeans, button up plaid shirt, that kind of stuff.
>>
>>17338861

>>17338872
Yeah but having a female friend tells nothing about you, a red flag is.something that gives you info on that person's personality or lifestyle; in fact being friends with an ex is a good thing, it means a person knows how to deal with losses without going belic.
>>
>>17338872

>>
>>17338886
>Yeah but having a female friend tells nothing about you
It means you're very close to a woman. It may be harmless, or they may be entirely inappropriate. The red flag is that ambiguity until you get more information. If it's established that the relationship has healthy boundaries, it's no longer a problem.

Come on dude this is simple stuff.

This thread is hilarious. Women's dating checklist is for guys they aren't very attracted to, and are merely willing to settle for..."maybe".
If a girl thinks you're hot enough, nothing else matters, I've been unemployed, living with my drunk uncle and scored with non-fat women who have money...they just thought i was hot, and that's all that mattered.
Basically, if you're not an 9/10 guy, you just need to shop around a lot, and this is key "make sure its in person" the animal magnetism doesn't work online, you need to be sitting there so they can smell you and stuff. Girls who think "i'd only date a doctor or lawyer" will settle for a garbage man, if you are hot enough for them. They don't think logically like men. lol.

Women don't know what they want. Why the fuck would I get romantic advice from a woman when they only tell me what they think they want, and not what they actually respond to?

>Lots of people get angry easily. What your really saying is you probably infuriating to be around because chances are you're an entitled white American milennial who thinks the world should be handed to you on a silver platter. Any man with self-respect would slap the shit out of you if pull your new wave feminist bullshit which is why you basically described a spineless cuck to give you attention.

THANK YOU.

Anger is good though, in minute doses. Historically, we found that out in the Age of Fire! We kindled and kindled and kindled the bonfire some more until we started going into Renaissance Age, marking the evolution of the Soul of Cinder into Omnimon!

Also, don't you women like opinions? You certainly love expressing them! And men love you! I love you! I love you expressing yourself and your beliefs, and I love disputing your beliefs and I love hearing you dispute my beliefs! You know what we call that in a relationship? Compromise!

What I will dispute though, is when the fire gets too hot. If you block people on Facebook, or block people out, they will stay out of your life. I don't fuck around. Fuck me off? No worries! Fuck you and fuck off!

>Sage this piece of shit thread. I really hope Islam becomes the new religion of the west, that seems to be the only thing that'll keep women in line. Seriously, it's really telling when the only thing that can deter a woman from cheating and acting like a spoiled princess is being stoned to death.

I can see you are still kindling fire in Renaissance Age? That's fine. We in the Renaissance are accepting of views. We kind of needed to anyway, after the Christians fucked our shit up in the Dark Ages. Age of Dark. Actually...

Weren't we in the Age of Dark before? Prior to the Age of Fire? Prior to the current Renaissance?

Red flags for me is a guy who comes on way too strong way too early, a guy that can't tell he's making me uncomfortable or a guy who seems desperate. I've met a lot of bad dudes who openly complain about their moms to anyone and everyone too.

Having a lot of lady friends or a bff that's a girl doesn't bother me considering I all around love and respect girls a whole lot more than men. Hell I have a lot of guy friends too.

First post best post.
The negative replies it garnered speak volumes of the disgusting depths the morals of today have fallen into.

God damn hedonistic degenerates of no virtue plague the western world.

Oh? And how do you know I'm not all the things I look for in a man?

Do you think I'm some skinny, blonde, outgoing, Stacy born into a rich family? I'm posting on 4chan, retard. But I've still worked my ass off to get to where I am and make something of myself. What's wrong with expecting the same of my partner? If being a woman is easy mode and just having a vagina is desirable, then why haven't you gotten yourself an attention-starved, obese, tumblrina? Oh because you have standards? Yeahhh so do I.

Good luck, but I am sure you will find a nice man to settle down with. I'd be proud to have someone like you in my family.

wouldn´t you feel better to teach people stuff, so why not show him and if he still fucks up then dump him.

i live alone but i still bring my mum the laundry
a. because i can´t afford a washing machine atm
b. she else has not that much laundry and the machine would run half empty so it´s not cost effective

Because women believe relationships should consist exclusively of men doing the giving and women doing the taking.

If he's not perfect directly out of the box they're instantly not interested. Any modicum of effort she might have to do is a giant turnoff and she'd rather just wait for some better slav- I mean boyfriend to come along and ask her out.

I'm sorry you find it that unbelievable, its completely true. I'm neither super young and naive or really old (not with the times) so I'm confident that I know what I'm talking about. I know a ton of men, and quite a few women, and I can verify this is a universal truth for at the very least, 70+% of women. Why else would a girl marry a guy who is perfect, then cheat on him with the gardener or something? Its simply because of their non-logical animal style attraction to certain guys. They pretend to have a type or red flags, etc, but really they don't. Here's a story...
21 year old girl, came from money, was in the most expensive school in the area, did well in school, blonde, blue eyes, white, thin and athletic, looked "hot" by most peoples standards. Was full blown SJW, went to gay pride, volunteered for stuff, wanted to help the immigrants lel, etc. Was at a beach party, same time as me, she lost her shit because someone threw a paper cup in the woods (it will break down, calm your tits) went on and on about a captain-planet style lecture. How the guy was such a dick, how she hated people who did that and how they were just so ignorant and non enlightened. Guy was like "Lel, whatever, the worlds polluted who cares" she started raging about it, how he's the reason the globe is being destroyed etc... moon light comes out (keep in mind she doesn't drink) and she gets a better look at him, omg, he's ...umm...giggle... yeah they hooked up later. more than once too. lol

I'll be completely honest with you because fuck it. I've asked one guy out ever. Before him I had two, month-long relationships in highschool that never went anywhere because I was very shy, awkward, and unwilling to have sex. I asked my now fiancé out when I was in college. I was terrified but nobody knew me there so I had nothing to lose. I was an assistant manager at a fast food place (cool, I know) that I worked at all through high school and college, and supported him in his last year of school because his program was pretty intense. Then three years later he supported me when I was doing clinicals in school and didn't have the time or energy to work part-time. We are both working now, own a condo together, and have a joint bank account to split everything down the middle. Sometime I pay a little more because I make a little more than him, and because he still has student loans to pay off. But it's really just when we go out to dinner I'll grab the check, or I'll pay the cats vet bill when I get it in the mail with a check from my own account. We're a team so it's not an issue.

I simply find the modern, hedonistic, consumerist culture, where the only virtue people strive for seems to be personal pleasure, to be despicable, and one of the core reasons for why our societies have become weak, and complacent, and thus ripe for the exploitation, and conquest of hostile foreign groups.
It is like the opium the British empire forced upon the Chinese, it rots our cultural moral fabric, keeps us complacent, and blinds us to the threats that endanger the futures of our peoples. Bread and Circuses of the masses, if you will.
The worst part of it, is evident in the replies your post garnered, for people who have been enthralled into this degeneracy, will aggressively lash out, and shame anyone they see rejecting this poison. It is a disgusting, and repugnant defensive mechanism, that serves to drag other people into the same hole of filth, and keep anyone from escaping from it.

Hopefully, the coming hardships, that will tear trough europe, will wake more people to the importance of strong cultural, and national ethos, before it is too late. A strong culture is like the immune system of a nation, whereas the degenerate popular culture spread by the elites, is like HIV, it destroys the immune system, and makes the nation, and it's people vulnerable to threats that they would otherwise be able to deal with.

All I've learned from this thread is that for some women, just being told they're wrong and why is a "temper tantrum."

You lasses should really lighten up, you're probably not good enough to get any man to act precisely how you want them to.

Think of it like shopping.
Women tend to wander back and forth and be unsure about stuff, go to visit another store, eat, pass by the perfume shop for samples, and then get what they want, but only after visiting the restroom as well. For some reason what they want needs to be validated with lots of time and consideration and what men see as conjecture. It's as if things don't have substance or value or meaning to them unless they've gone through some fucking tribulation to get it.

Handed to her on a platter? Nope.. Doesn't want it.
Required to wait in line and crawl over a horde of other shoppers to get it at 10% off an already marked up price? Nothing will stop her from getting it.

Whereas men just want the minimal possible fuss to get what they want because they already fucking know that they want it. It has value and substance and meaning to them just by virtue of existing and being what they want.

Alas, it's the way things will commonly go unless Men decide to only put value in women once they've jumped through a whole bunch of irrelevant hoops for them.

>if he has no male friends

>>
>>17341275
In your first post you basically say that women actually think before they buy. You need to stop making this complicated, it isn't. Both men and women can fit all stereotypes of either gender, there's no tricks, the genders aren't a hive mind and there is no stereotype that will fit every women.

Why would you be happy about being underweight? I guess the difference isn't that big as I, with a weight of 110 lb, would have to lose 5 pounds to have a BMI of 18.5 (as seen as the lowest before you get to be too skinny, I think my current BMI is 19.5-ish.

That actually makes sense. Oral is all about the giving.

Don't really understand how guys can operate that way. I'd probably be able to enjoy sex even if I couldn't feel anything because I'd enjoy making whomever I'm with feel good. Sort of like second-hand smoke/pleasure.
