Have a hike, a walk at the park, go to a café, to your place, to their place. Check free social events, there are usually facebook pages that promote that kind of shit.

Some are, some aren't. Call and make sure. Most should be free though. Make sure it doesn't suck too. I've seen a few that charged $10 and were basically old gas stations with trinkets made by indians.
Sure would be great if women could ever foot the bill
But that kind of equality is inconvenient so oh well
