So, I got a book published. It's not really a biggie and I'd prefer not to give additional info because doxing shit, but I have a question:
Is there a way to increase positive amazon reviews? Buying them is a hassle, illegal and expensive, so is there a better way?

post your book here, and we'll all give it great ratings, m8 no problem.

Did you get the book published or did you self-publish?
If the former, your publisher should have already sent out pre-release copies to various magazines for review. That doesn't mean they'll read/review them, it's just a start.
If the later... Good luck.
If you have physical copies, setting up a reading at your local book store would probably be a pretty good idea.
Like anon asked, self published or did you go through some agency? I'm about to self publish something I wrote. Would like to hear your experience.
You can give copies to people in exchange for reviews, use beta readers, shill it, etc. Just don't ask /lit/.
I... happened to understand based on past scientific research that OP's picture is from a doujin.

Nobody cares about it anyway :^) so forget about those reviews and start writing something worthwhile
