Does phenibut actually work for social anxiety? I don't

Does phenibut actually work for social anxiety? I don't want to rely on supplements or meds to fix my underlying problems but it just seems the best option for now.
Pic related is what I looked into. They sell this on amazon and the rating is 4.8./5. I'm not sure if this is a placebo but I would like to ask you guys if you've ever taken it and if it has worked wonders or not.

I have heard that it does. Doesn't hurt to try bro, get a amount that is fairly cheap and give it a try.
