Hey, /adv/
I take Adderall, 30mg, 3 times a day. The ADHD has gotten so bad that It honestly feels like I have alzheimer's. I take in so much information that NOTHING gets retained.
Now, the drugs work. Really well, actually, but I hate living by them. Being in college, its also extremely easy to give in, sell them and not take any of them because everyone asks me for them.
I dont want to live my life by them and I NEED to learn how to overcome this ADHD.
What do, /adv/?
I know how this goes, I hate the ADD drugs myself.
For one thing, try the Cornell Method of note-taking. It's helped me recently to retain information effectively, and I wish I had known about it in college, so give it a try and see if it works for you.

Thanks, I will deffinately try this, but...
What about in every day life. Everything else?
Jobs and taxes and all that stuff. I try to stay organized, but disorder seems to be at home with me. Surely I cant create lists my whole life and life by a series of lists.

Get off the meds. I used to be on 30mgs a lot whole studying matheatics back in school and after a while it just made my life a rollercoaster. Ups and downs some great bad.
I quit cold turkey even though it was tough. Best decision I ever made

How did you cope with the forgetfulness and the extreme analytical side. I like how analytical I am, but I wish to channel it into something greater
