I was pursuing a path in life for a few years (occupational) but recently have decided it's not ideal. It was a passion but it's turned out to not be quite what I thought. I'm okay with changing paths, though I've been stuck in limbo ever since I've decided not to pursue this one. I'm not even sure my hobbies are the same anymore as it's difficult for me to feel any joy from them recently and it's hard to focus on anything. It's like I have depression but I'm not sad nor do I feel like my future is completely hopeless (though it's ostensibly more uncertain lately).
What are good ways to find your footing again once you're thrown off track? I've tried investigating myself and my values but nothing really pulls me anymore. I'm wondering if it's just going to take time, but I'm also concerned about stagnation.
I'd appreciate any input as I'm out of ideas.
Do what makes you happy
You might become a soldier, kill thousands of people and in the end become a priest, knowing life in a different light
you can always change paths, life is funny, never know what will happen no matter how much planning goes along in your head

Nothing in life is ideal. Nothing. Get used to it and learn to enjoy the ride m8. When you don't know where your going, any road will get you there.
