My husband joined the airforce.

I need to think of what kind of job I can do around military bases because we will be moving a lot.

Any suggestions?

Preferably something meaningful do not mind going back to school.

You'll probably just end up doing a local shitty job around base like at the PX or something, from what I hear the money isn't even good enough to be worth it after taxes. I'd suggest sticking to school. Where is are you stationed? Or did he literally just join?

Airforce brat here. Father was in for 26 years. We moved all over the states and overseas

While hubby works, if you have access to a vehicle, get to know your immediate surrounding. Establish your familiarity with good take out areas. If you're not shopping on base, know where has the best grocery coupon deals. Try to keep the home orderly. These are basics and crazy helpful for living on base. As far as what you can do for yourself, taking online courses will be best as you may move a lot and being tied to a physical classroom will be difficult. Also look into a part time job just to keep yourself occipied. Please dont become one of those damn pig military wives that is lazy as fuck and wallows in her happy gated lifestyle

If you don't mind going back to school, think about something like becoming a dental hygienist, nurse, or something else in the medical field. If you want your work to be meaningful, look nowhere else.

I am finished my schooling in July. Sadly there is a lot happening in my life at the moment I am this Anon boards.4chan.org/adv/thread/17297371/i-am-a-part-time-student-with-a-serve-anxiety I was planning on saving up money to start a photography business around military bases we get posted to. I graduated first for Graphic design but I found the stress affected my health too negativly. I ended up focusing on getting my health back and went to school at nights working on a back up plan.

My husband is in training for the next year and a half we get posted after that. We will more than likely get posted to Borden or Kingston. We will be licing in PMQ so price of living will not be that bad plus I grow a lot of the vegetables myself. But I want to work and bring in some kind of income I do not want to sit at home not working it is not in my blood.

I do not really have the health to do either of those jobs sadly. I love to help people but it takes too much from me to be around people that much. My husband really encourages me to do my art because it makes him happy to see I am doing it but I know that art is more of a hobby. I am a very creative person, I do wood working and make canes for close friends and do digital art and watercolours. I have thought of ma king some stuff for craft shows but I know that is something I could use as a reliable source of income especially if we will be moving around a lot.

Get a freelance and fiverr account going.
>>
>>17297907
I have done some freelancing in the past and that is part of where I got a lot of health issues from I found when there be less in person contact people would become more demanding constantly wanting more and more at all hours of the day. Fiver is not really worth it that is just my opinion though. I freelance some times now but only with local people and we do not do money we exchange our work for equivalent amount of work and resources.

Understandable. If you don't mind me asking, what's wrong with your health?

If you enjoy art look into making decoy ducks and selling them. I know it may sound random but I have a friend who does this on the side while she goes to school and she sells them for $300-$700 each.

I love birds maybe I will give that a try thank you for the suggestion.

I have an oral allergy to pollen which knocks me out there times a year. I have had it since I was a kid. It usually lasts around three weeks each time and I will sleep for thtee days at a time usually my body gets extremely tired. I have an audiotaury processing disorder which is like like dyslexia in the ears for processing sound. I have a sevre anxiety disorder and recovered from agoraphobia I was a NEET at one point because of it. The anxiety and audiotaury problem go hand in hand I have had both since I was born and they like to cause me problems together rather than separate. I have crohns too which is affected by the anxiety too and lastly a short term memory issue that I have had since birth. Overall I feel like I have won genetic lottery. I gave been seeking help for my issues for a long time now I have a lot of different specialists and are becoming more open about my problems with others so they do not think I am bothered by them. I get very tired from being around others I have a tendacy to always take on others emotions as my own which is good for learning but I have trouble shutting it off. I have been meditating the past month which has really been helping a lot. But sadly I know I have a lot of limitations I want my health to be my first priority bit I also want a career. I want to feel of importance to society and that my hardships were not for nothing.

Is he gonna be flying? If so, here's a fun tip:

Any pet name that his buddies overhear you calling him will likely become his callsign for good.

Have fun with that.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope you manage to achieve what you desire.

Do you have children?

How long have you been married for?
>>
>>17298032
He is training for electrical repairing for the airplanes. I hope he gets the nickame I call him though that would be funny.
>>
>>17298035
Thanks you Anon I hope your health is well too and you achieve your desires too.

Recently married but we have been together for three years now.

I have no intentions of having kids because of my health issues. We want to travel lots. I respect people who take on that responsibility.
>>
>>17298040
It can still happen if he gets a callsign at all for any reason.
>>
>>17298049
I will hope so. The nicknames I call him are get good and dinkle.
>>

>>17298048

My physical health is alright. Mentally not so much probably haha. I hope to get into med school in the near future though. Travel more too.

How is marriage in general? And how old are you and your husband? I used to want to get married and have kids but I am pretty hesitant now honestly. I have major trust issues and all the girls I get with I have no desire to get serious. I think I might just get a dog.
>>
>>17298057
Dogs are really cool. We want dogs instead of kids. We have a bearded dragon that is like a dog his name is Zeus. I am 22 and he is 28 but we are both fairly mature for our ages. When I was a NEET my mom set up a dating profile and got me a date with him that is how we met.

More people do not want to get married I think it's because they feel I'd they get married that means kids and the job market has put them in a position where they do not feel comfortable bringing someone up in that.
Mental health is the most important health. They really should be teaching people coping mechanisms at a young age so if they ever find themselves in the future in a situation they will be able to know what kind of things may work to help. Make sure to get lots of sunshine it will help a lot with depression, if you have been depressed for more than two years you shold seek medical help it could be damaging your brain.

Marriage is work but we have really good teamwork and he is my bestfriend we rarely bicker but we are both very relaxed people. Playing games together helps a lot.
>>
>>17298082

That's good. Have you ever both always been faithful? My problem with marriage and long term relationships in general is that eventually the spark dies down. Divorce rates due to infidelity are through the roof. I think if I were to ever get married I would want a prenup.
>>
>>17298105
No we were both raised to only have our eyes on one prize. Self control and respect for the person you love. If you fear divorce with that person then it is not meant to be. Marry your bestfriend and you will be happy for life.

In my opinion why the divorce rates are so high now and people are more segerated now with the intenert and reality TV. The women come up with some romance movie in their mind and the men come up with some porn scenes in their mind or it could be the other way around. People are not living with what is around them their mind is always else where they always think they deserve better it's a generation of narcissists.
>>
>>17298117

Good points. Well, best of luck to you again with everything. I hope it works out for the best.
>>
>>17298117
Plus our recent recession is as bad as the great depression only we have government programs in order to help people more and cause less chaos. Money is a big issue in marriage especially if only one person is working. While I do have reasons not to work I want to work because I know it will make my husband I life better.

Farmy brat here.

Life was hard we moved around a lot but now I am pretty much top dog and can fuck whatever bitch I want lol.

My mom just did her own thing you know just enjoyed her life but I don't give a fuck about what she did anyway.

I guess if I had to break it down to one thing I would tell you to just do you man.

>>17298124
Thank you Anon you as well godspeed with your medical schooling.

Op here

I am from Navy family both parents were navy but my mom got injured and retired then never worked again. That is why I am having a hard time thinking of ideas. Most of the women on the navy bases that were married to navy men did not work.
