I hate relationship threads. So many people are blue pilled when it comes to relationships. It's all about feelings, and love, and this disneyesque notion of it. If it doesn't feel like you're in a kids movie, it's wrong.
Relationships are fucking work, and most of the time they're not even worth it. You'll see that when you get out of one.
You and your partner should mutually benefit each other financially and emotionally. Love is optional, and sometimes even counter-productive to a good relationship.

But seriously, that's not all we're about. It gets a lot of screen time, because 4chan is full of lonely people, but we give advice on other things too.
Like phimosis. We wind up giving an awful lot of advice concerning phimosis. I don't know how Google or Bing or whatever godforsaken search engine decided we were some kind of leading authority on phimosis, but you wouldn't believe how many threads we get about it.

Seriously though, OP is right. There's plenty of people on 4chan who seek mental health advice. /adv/ is the closest thing, but it's flooded with people who know nothing but bf/gf issues. It would work, what reason is there to oppose it?
