I don't see anything wrong with what you said. You took an interest in what she's doing, reaffirmed the desire to meet up, and wished her well. Just leave it alone and hope she contacts you when she's back.
The only think you might have done differently is keeping her talking to cement a plan so you're not stuck waiting to hear back, instead you've given her a pretty solid send-off and no incentive to reply until she's back in town. But seeing the time gap between texts, I doubt you could have pulled that off.
