Why do people here talk about having "crushes" as if they're 10
Is that really something young adults do
Maybe i'm just a mean guy

Everyone can get a crush, it just means you like someone.

>liking someone
>liking another person
Those words
is it really possible for someone to arrange them in a sentence like that
it's a normal thing for most people but we're mean cunts so we unfortunately don't have crushes me and u op

I'm pretty sure it implies crippling levels of anxiety, at least, it used to, until it got overused by people who wanted to think that every kind of attraction they felt was totally out of their control.

I only use the word crush because I really dont know any other substitute for the word.
Like what else do you call it? Otherwise you have to change the entire structure of the sentence just so you can say you like someone in a different way.

You just like people for no reason?

A-are we not talking about crushes as in the girl/guy we really like?
>>17287475
What?
I wonder this too. A guy recently told me he had a crush on me and it was seriously disappointing because the word "crush" sounds trivial and fleeting. Do people actually use it to describe an intense feeling?

I stopped using the word crush when I turned 18 because it made me feel really immature. I just started saying "I think so and so is so fucking hot."
I feel like sexually repressed people say "crush" correct me if im wrong tho
