I been using an "Dell Insprion 9300" made in 2003, that's been so crapfuly slow, and My Xbox 360 of four years has overheated and will no longer boot.

i have $500 (plus $200 next month) in savings to buy a new electronic device.

should i buy a new computer to browse 4chan better?

buy a replacement 360 Console?

spurge and pre-order the new Slim XBOne?

>to browse 4chan better

buy what you fucking want dude, what do our opinions actually matter here? it literally boils down to what you're going to use more.

i can barely play .gifs, or .webms

Sure would be better to invest in upgrading your pc components, you dont need to use all of your cash for them and its easy to install yourself. Whats been bugging you the most with your computer? Too slow loading stuff? Being too loud? Having no extra saving space? Videos are in low quality?

Besides, you could always try to open up your existing 360 console and look for inner fractures in the chips, motherboard, if something has melted or if its got some faulty fans that aint cooling it enough. Pry it open and look for clues.

Jesus man, I keep forgetting how crappy the old computers specs were in the beginning.

You could find a better computer (minus the dvd-tray) for a better price with better base specs than that piece of junk. But buying all components separated and having a shell to place them in would be much cheaper, you got the cooling + power unit already so its an easy fix to set them up.

You have been suffering for quite a while OP. New system would so enrich your daily webm experience. Think of the loading speed.
>>
If you go used OP, you could build a PC for like half your budget. Screens also are not expensive if you look for local used sales, there's always at least 20 LCD screens on sale in my city for 5-$10. They aren't the prettiest things of course, but they do 720p.

As per GPU versus iGPU... it depends on what you can find, but if you go iGPU and get it on a decent socket, then you'll be able to upgrade if you ever want to. It'd be like $400 for a basic i3 rig, which if you add a GPU later to it, you could game on.

If gaming isn't a priority, it gets much cheaper, of course.

I think if you have limited resources, the PC is a much better resource and cash sink than a console. There's virtually unlimited free content on PC.

Get all this minus the heat sink, SSD, optical disk, and OS.

None of that is necessary.

i plan to use a 36in tv screen via HDMI

for non gaming use i would buy a new laptop and hook it up to the tv, and use a bluetooth handheld keyboard.
>>
Just buy an Intel NUC.
>>
Buy a desktop PC with a recent Intel processor, such as an i5
It doesn't need a GPU yet.

Now, instead of getting an Xbone, save up for a graphics card, such as the AMD RX 470 or 470
