anyone here suffer from Brain fog, poor memory, cognitive dysfunction, and maybe some neck/head pressure?

I have pretty bad depression, but it certainly doesn't seem like depression could debilitate someone to this extent physically and cognitively. I have no family history of MS, I don't have a dog and haven't been bitten by a tick in my life so probably not lyme. General blood test all came back normal and I have an MRI appointment which will likely come back normal like everything else. It's getting really hard to function on a day to day basis. Hopefully anyone has went through similar and can shed some light?

Depression, lack of good sleep, general anxiety, any blood pressure issues, etc. can all affect memory, not to mention any family history of cognitive problems such as dementia or Alzheimers Disease. Hopefully your doctor can get to the root of your memory loss--GL!

ive been there. do you have trouble eating because of it? does it feel like you are off balance?

>>
>>17265515

Please go on
>>
>>17265536

could you please contact me privately? it gets weird

[email protected]
>>
>>17265550

God damn it now I really want to know, and I'm not even OP
>>
>>17265550
post it here faggot
>>
>>17265465
Yes. It turned out to be an issue with my thyroid. Get a thyroid panel done.
>>
>>17265587
and do you feel better now?
How bad was it, like almost impossible to think?
>>
I have this, and it's chronic fatigue syndrome/post viral syndrome. The only way to get diagnosed with that is to get every test your doctors can think of and be ruled out for anything else like Lyme, mono, thyroid problems etc. You may try going to other specialists if your neurologist doesn't see anything on your MRI. Your primary care doctor should know which specialists to suggest. If you feel it's not your depression, don't settle for that diagnosis and keep seeking opinions.
>>
>>17265596
I feel better because it's being treated but still have occasional symptoms. I'll forget what I was doing randomly and have trouble focusing, like my brain will warp from place to place which makes it impossible to think about anything for long periods of time.
>>
>>17265603
I sometimes experience this. Sometimes I feel like I blank out for hours and struggle to remember what I had even done during that time.
>>
>>17265608
me again, but I wasn't OP or the guy asking if not OP. x.x;
>>
>>17265608
Yeah, exactly. Sometimes people will tell me that I just did x and I will be completely confused because I have no recollection of it even though it happened 5 seconds ago.
>>
>>17265613
OP here, I shouldn't be driving anymore. That happens to me, 10 minutes into driving i'll forget how I got there.
>>
Tell me about your masturbation habits.
How much in a day, what kind of content?

You know, porn addiction fucks your brain....
>>
>>17265622

sounds like you had what i had. i got your email and responded. please do contact me there again. its a little crazy though it might not be as crazy in your case. answer the follow up questions and ill walk you through it.

just know ive been cured so theres hope for you
>>
>>17265622
Driving sometimes got that way with me when i had a long commute to work. I would be on the last road home and be thinking "how did I get here" because I couldn't remember the two freeways I had to take back. I think/hope that was just stress related.
>>
OP please join the chatzy chatroom link i snet you
>>
>>17265670
just email your story, or post it here.
>>
>>17265670
Are you trying to trying to recruit him for a cult or something?
>>
>>17265675

its not a 'story' there are more questions and explanations and its easier if you can actually respond to what im saying isntead of be throwing out a shitton of weirdness without context.
>>
>>17265679

no, there are two possibilities for what he has. both are kinda weird and shitty, but potentially curable as of late.
>>
join the chatroom OP i dont have all day.
>>
>>17265683
>>17265686
just tell me the two possibilities on here
>>
>>17265695

no
>>
just do it OP. nothing to lose doesnt require you to sign up jsut a free chatroom to make chatting easier, but you are wasting my time making me wait and im going to bed soon
>>
>>17265700
why not? you are simply depriving other people that might suffer something similar of potential solutions. Are you just wanting to be personally referred to as a hero? Because withholding that information after boasting about it is considerably asinine.
>>
>>17265715

if anyone else is suffering from this tehy are making their own thread. trust me its fucking hell and the lack of answers pushes you. i made my own thread when i had the same problem.

there arent people suffering from mild brain damage waiting around not posting about it, trust me. it consumes your life.

OP, please join the chat room. i emailed it to you. there is a cure now if its the first possibility, and if its the second there are options but it gets weird.
>>
>>17265714
There's no reason friend, i'm sorry I don't feel comfortable with it. You already have a gmail account which is suspicious enough. You asked for my email just to ask my skype and chatzy.

we live in a hyper paranoid society for good reason
>>
>>17265715

whats asinine is insisting i have a private converastion that require sreal time responses in a forum. i cannot even guarantee who ever rseponds will be OP, and no matter whati post you guys will bandwagoin around and insist im retarded. i need to ask OP a few more questions to narrow it down but the response he gave in email was vague it'd save time and be more clear if we can talk it out in real time.

>>17265722

>its suspicious that you used a gmail
>joining chatzy which is jsut as fucking anonymous as 4chan would somehow endanger you

good luck with that then.
>>
>>17265465
Yes. I'm not sure if it's because of my anxiety in general or if I burned out from working too hard. It got so bad that I couldn't remember what year it was, what day today is or how to use stuff I use daily. I can't remember conversations I've had with people, I remember having a conversation with them but I can't remember what they have said at all. I have hard time trusting my memory, so I avoid saying people's names because I'm scared of getting them wrong. And these are people that I might have known for multiple years. In the same way if it's someone's birthday or something, I have to ask someone else to assure it because I don't trust myself. If I try to learn new things I forget them almost instantly. It's scary as fuck.
>>
>>17265722

enjoy spending at the very least another month trying to figure out whats wrong, assuming they ever do. if not for my very specific position in life i probably never would have gotten the answer.

it took them an entire month just to get the wrong diagnosis.
>>
>>17265730
I just don't see why you can't post here. It's 4chan
>>
>>17265734

BECAUSE BEFORE I CAN EVEN TELL OP WHAT IT IS I NEED HIM TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND WHEN I TRIED DOING IT BY EMAIL HE WAS NON SPECIFIC AND TAKES FOREVER TO GET BACK.

its not a blog or an article. its an indepth conversation to narrow it down as much as possible. it would take me an hour here at best, plus all the other people interfering.

wehreas if we just talked in a chatroom d take ten minutes
>>
>>17265721
Yeah. You know what else consumes peoples lives? Other mental conditions that cause things like anxiety, paranoia, and various other things that would prevent someone suffering from one thing to privately talk to a stranger about it. Wounded dogs hide their pain from their owners, what makes you think you have more trust than a man and his dog?

>>17265723
What's asinine is your refusal to accept that you are not some sorta messiah for this one person.

ref: >>17265683
>there are two possibilities for what he has.
You can list the possibilities and allow us to take the autonomy to do what we must with that information. You can at least help those who aren't the OP by listing those and giving options, even if they are not individually specific. An individual can ask about those two possibilities with a doctor and get properly tested.
Also, ref: >>17265730
That's pretty vindictive of someone trying to help.
>>
>>17265809

it worked, we are in the chatroom and were going over the options.

its not my job to be mister best person ever. to get tihs conversation to work i needed one on one time with OP where people like you wouldnt be chiming in on every little thing i say. you know, like oyu're doing now.

thankfully op reached out.
>>
smoke marijuana and you'll really notice when your brain is slow and when it isn't.
bitch
>>
>>17265830
Whether or not it is your job to be mister best person ever is not my concern. You got going on about two real possibilities, yet refused to reveal what those mysterious possibilities are. You don't have to sit down with each person to discuss what those could be, and you obviously were waiting for a reply anyway, so instead of arguing, which just appears to be a negative to both of us, you could have just chatted a little about the information you're so sure will help others.

I hope that your information actually helps OP because that stuff can suck, especially when there's no clear reason behind it. I just wish you took a more utilitarian route and at least gave the rest of us a more clear idea of what these mysterious possibilities were.

This
>>
>>17265870

>whether or not its your job to mister best person ever is not my concern

then stop making it your concern.

>implying ill read the rest
>>
>>17265870

if other people want my help, they are welcome to ask for it. but to best help OP i had to talk to him one on one.

hes the one who asked ofr help, i took the best route to help him. to sit here and try to find a way to explain it without a real conversation would have hindered me helping OP.

he is the one with brain damage, stop making it about you. if you have hte problem yourself feel free to reach out, but i cant fucking diagnose a person via thread. i have never before asked to talk to soemone privately. i did so this time because it seemed like the easiest way to help them before my cough medicine knocked me out.

i dont know why you're such a cunt about it.
>>
>>17265550
Post it here. I want to know too since I have the same symptoms. Not the weirdest shit that gets posted here, I'm sure.
>>
>>17266239
Mind if I send you an email later? Really need to know as well.
>>
>>17265465
Had the same problem but not the one that affects memory but just my cogntive abilities. I manage get a little bit better with exercise and eating health. Also taking some b complex vatims helps. Op can you keep us updated on your mri results. My guess is that your hippocampus shrinked from depression.
