Lately I've been feeling a bit bummed out. I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I'm turning 22 in a few months. And I've only finished highschool. People advised me to travel, and so I did, hoping to figure out what I want in life. But I'm still pretty clueless, it seems like everyone around me has their shit figured out but I haven't. It's getting to a point where I get up and do nothing but play guitar and drink scotch. Has anyone been through something similar?

So many people make these exact same threads. Chains and direction of school are off and now you get to decide what to do for yourself. but what is the best choice? There is none. You just do whatever man, but i recommend you keep busy.

most everyone feels this way. most people dont know what they want to do with thier life, they simply have no choice but to pursue something. its the reason so many people com here and complain about their shitty jobs or shitty major.
they werent as 'lucky' to be in your situation where you can just wake up and do what you do for a couple of years.
people take a job cuz a job was offered. they choose the course cuz it seemed the most interesting, even if they have no real experience with it.
and one thing you gotta realize is that people are known to change career fields up to two times in their lives. you dont need a single purpose in life. its okay to find a job that is mildly okay and spend your free time trying different things.
