How do I tell my sister and husband I want to move out early before the lease is up? I can easily afford my own place and I know they can afford the remainder of the rent I paid. It just doesn't feel like home and I've felt like an unwanted guest since I moved in..plus my room is soo tiny and my stuff doesn't fit. They also have kids and while I love them the house is always a mess. Plus they hangout with one of my exes who left me for another dude I'm still not over it and they go out their way to invite her out but not mee, which I am pretty butthurt about. What do I tell them without leaving on bad terms??
Just like that, what you said above....
I thought you meant your husband for a minute.
And I don't see why you can't just tell them. Why would it create conflict?
Damm thats on tough cookie

explain it. explain you are only consideirngi t cuz you know financially its all worked out and you know it will offset some of hte costs to them, btu you'd really like to go start your own life.

Mostly because since I cover part of the rent and bills they can 'splurge' I guess like going to nice restaurants and shopping. I've been able to do the same but I can cut back and so can they. I just don't know how they'll react thooo that's what I'm worried about.

As long as you are on the lease you are responsible for the rent. How much longer would you have? I know if my roommate wanted to leave early and try to bail on rent I'd be pissed.

5 more months but I've been progressively getting more and more depressed living here. I used to live alone before and was a lot happier just want to get back to that asap.
