I have visited both of these countries and want to get out of my current one and would like to move to one of them. I like them equally as much although in some different aspects. Which one should I go to?

Russia isn't as bad as western world pictures it:

2 years ago ruble fucking fell to the half of its price to dollar/euro and it's not going to be better. It's going to be worse. Like they raise wages and make everything paid, with healthcare and education remaining shit.
You will never get out of Russia if you live there, everything in euros or dollars is a fortune, most Russian degrees are laughed at and pay is horrible.
Be honest, anon, Germany is better and you just want one less immigrant.

Russia is slowly turning more miserable.
Germany is suffering from culture clashes caused by forced immigration but the standard of living is much better.
From what I've gathered, if you want to live in Russia you should be able to pretend you're russian.

Also what the other anons said, the economy is down and even in highly specialised professions you get a shit salary.
Then again the only Russians I know are ones that moved from Russia to Germany. May be biased information.

You have to understand language though in detail. Especially swearing.
Dialect? Wtf is this shit, nobody gives a fuck. Shit, even if you have weird accent people still will understand. Russia is surprisingly accepting to other cultures except middle asia immigrants. Almost all postsoviet/native nationalities aren't hated, maybe told anecdotes about.
Really, no sense in trying to pretend to be Russian. If you are white and don't look like a man from middle asia there won't be any discrimination. Maybe interest and some topic to discuss. A lot of Russians have German, Polish relatives anyway.
However, don't tell that Soviet was violent dictatorship to elderly and agree that it was with young people.

Again, my source of information is people that left Russia so my information might be dated but on the topic of moving to Russia for work my girlfriend said something along the lines of: are you sure you want to live there although you will never be accepted in society and people will constantly try to rip you off?
