In general, there are no reliable factors to tell if someone is interested or actively not-interested (except at the extreme ends of the scale) without talking and getting to know them to at least some degree. This is literally what dating and courtship were invented for. Nowadays some people seem to get this idea that relationships come before dating, but this is putting the cart before the horse.
