I was just raised in an environment where women were only valued for their youth so it makes me feel worthless that I'm aging. I think that it's a mix of that and the fact that younger men aren't likely to be established, women in their 20s are generally looking for stability and starting a family. so if they go younger they a.) have to wait for their younger man to be ready for marriage/kids and waste their prime childbearing years and b.) have to wait for him to get out of college/vocation etc and be gainfully employed.
