What are some ways I can meet new people? I'm 20 so a bar or drinking is out of the question.
Also, what are some good ways to find events near and away from me? Events like expos conventions classes concerts exhibitions etc etc

Find a terrarium and a book on butterflies and caterpillars. Catch some caterpillars and leaves and raise them into butterflies.

Comic book shops can be cool, but card gamers can be snobs and total memelords.
Toystores? I've met fellow collectors by just looking for a figure.
For more people, I'll have to say cons. I go to anime and comic themed.
Music shows can work too. I'm a metalhead so there's some underground venues where I live.
