The problem with these statements is that you're taking your personal experiences and preference and claiming that it applies to everyone else.

The only demonstration that your contention is incorrect is for one person to say "nah, I like pie more."
Emotionally and physically, sex with another person feels much, much better to me than masturbation. Aside from the superior feeling that a vagina provides to my dick, I really like touching and holding someone, and I like giving someone the pleasure that they are giving me.
Sex one of several reasons why people want to be in a relationship, and for a lot of people (including me) it's an important part of a relationship. I don't want a purely sexual relationship with someone, but I can understand people who do.
I think your need to insist that everyone else must be wasting their time in being in a sexual relationship is odd. It shows either an undeveloped thought process, or that you're rationalizing your inability to enter and maintain a lasting romantic relationship that includes sex.
