Wondering if someone could help me out or at least direct me to the board I should go to...I'm trying to build a gaming pc (nothing really extreme, just something that can get 1080 and 60fps) and I'm not really sure if what I have will work. Is there anyway I could get the grand total lower?

All those guys were assholes, but thank you anyway. I'll go search on another website.

You won't pay less than $1000 for a decent rig. I built mine for just over $1600, and it's no monster, but it does 1080 at 60 for most games.
Also, don't get a 970. With the 1000 series just releasing, try to find a used 980ti for $500. Much better investment.
