Anyone have a dream they want interpreted?

Not all dreams mean something so some I may not have answers for.
>>
I'm having reoccurring dreams about being attracted to a friend who isn't even aligned with my sexuality.
I'm 100% not attracted to this person when awake, why do I dream about mastrubating to them?
>>
>>17205639
Let's just throw the masturbation part out. I tend to believe dreams are connected to the subconscious. And it could be that your subconscious is telling you that you are attracted to a quality of this person. Maybe theres something you admire about them?

If you feel no attraction when you're awake, then it's certainly not sexual.

Could it be that this person has something that you admire?

Pray for blood,
Pray for the cleansing,
Pray for the flood,
Pray for the end of this nightmare.
This lie of a life can as quickly as it came dissolve.
We seek only reprieve and welcome the darkness.
The myth of a meaning so lost and forgotten (forgotten).

Take hold of my hand,
For you are no longer alone.
Walk with me in hell.

Pray for solace,
Pray for resolve,
Pray for a savior,
Pray for deliverance, some kind of purpose.
A glimpse of a light in this void of existence.

Dream 1:
>Keep having dreams about spiders, they keep trying to attack me, i end up fending them off or killing them but they either take the form of huntsmans or funnel webs (im aussie so naturally i have run ins with these around my place normally) anyway i am also usaly with a family member or acquaintance when the attack occurs.
Dream 2:
>This one disturbs me the most, i have it somewhat infrequently, i end up being force (feeling forced) to kill someone, they have done some petty shit to me or against me IRL and some simile comes up in the dream and next thing you know im strangling or stabbing them quite violently, i enjoy it whilst in the dream but when i wake up i don't so much.

I had a series of dreams one night that kinda went like a movie. The first dream was a simple double date. My date was the same girl that keeps appearing in my dreams. The second dream was a high speed car chase in front of my school with that same girl as my passenger. The third dream was a nightmare where all of my family and close friends abandoned and shunned me. The girl that keeps appearing shunned me as well. What do these mean and why does she keep appearing? She also looks like a very close friend that I see everyday and used to like.
>>
>>17205698
Dreaming of spiders is not altogether a bad sign. But if one bites you, then it is a sign of bad things to come. Are you in a relationship? Argue much lately?

Dream 2 - When you dream about murdering someone, it is an indication of you feeling ashamed of something you are engaged in. Something that could tarnish your name if caught.
>>
>>17205705
Being abandoned is a sign of you are going to run into some difficulty in the future working toward one of your goals. You are going to struggle to plan away to reaching whatever it is you are trying to attain. Maybe the said girl?

But then she could be just someone you really like. Clearly she is the close friend or a representation of her.
>>
>>17205755
Yeah she's a very close friend. I used to have a crush on her but buried those feelings since I was a beta. I got to admit though that those feelings never fully went away. Also I'm going to a uni soon that's 7+ hours away from all my friends and family to somewhere I've never been.
>>
I used to have precognitive dreams a lot when I was younger, I still have them as an adult but not nearly as frequently. Like, I'll look in a direction and get hit with a massive case of deja vu. Does this mean anything?

Also, I used to have dreams where I could float. Like, I could jump long distances in a hovering fashion and land whenever I wanted but that was rare since I can barely control myself in a dream. My latest floating dream was me scaling a small building and landing in a Chinese shop I frequent. She then sent me on errands or something... my memory of the dream isn't that great but the theme of floating frequents my dreams a lot.
>>
I had a dream that I was with Ludwig Wittgenstein in a nice, rural, woodsy, part of Europe robbing banks. There was a rival bank robbing gang that we were facing as well. I've had several dreams lately with Wittgenstein.
>>
>>17205615
I have these hyper realistic dreams about being close and affectionate with various girls. It's a different girl each dream. Sometimes it's women I know in real life like a past interest/girlfriend, sometimes it's something as off as a girl I only see every now and then at school, or barely talk to.

Some of them I find attractive, some average. Never had a dream with someone I didn't find at least somewhat attractive.

My thing is WHY are they so real? Like I end up feeling every fingernail brush against my skin, her chin nuzzled into the curve of my neck. My other dreams are never this realistic. Sometimes they carry some sort of narrative like a date, but they usually end up being cozy like laying in a bed I've never seen before, or something of that sort. The things that stand out to me is they say odd things like "Never forget who you belong to" or "You're mine and mine only." and their eyes always seem to be the focus, as they're almost unnaturally vibrant.

I doubt there's a huge meaning behind this, but would love your input. Haven't had a girlfriend for the past two and a half years if that matters.
>>
My teeth fell out. My boyfriend, who has been distant as of late, abandonded me in the dream also.
>>
>>17205615
I'm not necessarily asking for interpretation, but thought I'd share my really weird dream from two nights ago. I think dreams, especially ones that are really out there, are fascinating. Mine seems to start from things that happen at work and devolves into a chaotic internet based mess.

I went into work and couldn't find anything because our boss's boss "cleaned" everything (she threw most of our important stuff away a few weeks ago because she has mental problems). People up front were lining up for cake orders, demanding that I make things that we can't take orders for. Then I went back to the kitchen and it turned into some sort of dimly lit shack. Everything was on tall, rickety shelves. Then I'm suddenly talking to my mom about porn and we decide to open up our own porn business with my husband, FullyRawKristina and TheDrunkenPeasants. I end up getting double teamed by my husband and Pauls Ego while Sargon of Akkad and The Amazing Atheist go at my mom. Then some cartoon-looking thug shits on me when I go to prepare for the next scene and I whine to my mom until she agrees to take me by my house to pick up a change of clothes. As we leave, the area becomes a large map of Civilization IV (where you can buy tiles). Then I had to peel Barbie stickers off the windshield so that I can drive to the apartments where I used to live when I was a child.

Come at me, Freud.
>>
I had a dream where I was on a hill of sorts surrounded by some sort of fence.

The fence was keeping out a pack of wolves or foxes (can't remember exactly but I'm sure there was at least one fox)

They were all howling at me and I woke up in sweat.

What do those wolves or foxes mean?
>>
I have dreams sometimes where I lose a limb but I just kind of shrug it off and live my new limbless life.

>>
I've been having recurring dreams about playing in the nfl. I'm a girl
>>
>>17205615
You still here, OP?

About year ago I had a dream where there were 2 men out in the middle of the country inside of a house that kinda looked like the 1 from Forrest Gump. Anyways, there were 2 men inside. 1 had long hair and has a relatively fit body. Kinda like a less muscular version of Bruce Lee. The other was in a wheelchair, had thick glasses, a goatee, and was constantly saying, "All I've been told is work hard and you'll be fine. Just work hard and everything will be ok." It seemed like the the long haired man was comforting the wheelchair man. Wheelchair man had also lost someone in their mid 20s. I guess that I should point out that both of the men were in their late 30s, early 40s.

I've never dreamed of anything like that since, but it is something I think about at least once a week
>>
I had a nightmare 2 months ago.
I dreamt of a girl I used to know.
I was a dark place, with light only immediately around me, and then I heard her voice. She said, "You're pathetic. I don't know you anymore. What happened to you, anon?" And I couldn't respond respond, so she repeated herself, and then her voice started to split. Soon I was in a cloud of her voice, a cacophony of unintelligible words, and I screamed into the darkness, "What did I do? What do you want from me?!" Then I saw her.
I woke up after that. I didn't want to sleep that night. I was too afraid to see her again.
>>
>>17205812
you are anxious that your boyfriend will break up with you
>>
Sorry all, I went to sleep early last night. Guess I should have posted this thread earlier.

However I hope to reply to everyone and hopefully you all still have the thread open.

>>17205771
As far as the precognitive dreams, I'm not sure what or if they mean anything.

I think the hovering dream means something. Tell me, are you floating low to the ground or very high?

>>17205774
Ignore the Ludwig part, the stealing is the bad part. Anytime you have a dream where you are robbing or stealing of someone, it means bad luck is coming your way. Or maybe something that will tarnish your name. Sorry m8.

>>17205783
This one is pretty simple. Obviously dreaming of different women means you are very interested in finding a girl for a relationship. You are lonely? I think your subconscious is trying to tell you that.

I get the sense that they are so realistic because you are craving companionship bad. Hang in there, the dreams will disappear when you find a love interest.
Fixing to get ready to go to wageslave. Answer a few more in about an hour or so
>>
>>17205812
Teeth dreams are generally bad. Losing your teeth means you are about to go through a struggle that will destroy your a relationship and your pride.

The abandonment feeling is directly related to this. If you try to put back together this relationship when it fails, there will be massive struggles for you.

>>17205814
That has to be made up. If not, I have no idea what that means lol.
>>
I had a dream when i was flying above the city like a bird and then get down for some rest, it was dark and moment later i was stabbed with big fucking knife in my back. It was so painful like i can felt my backbone breaking.

2 days after i realize that my beatiful gf had sex with her ex and another guy after 2 years of the best relationship i my life.

Good morning OP.
>>
>>17207232
I mean she cheated on me
>>
This is just a dream from a few days ago, i generally dont write them down but this one felt really uncomfortable and has stayed with me since, i usually dont remember dreams at all after an hour of waking up

'two friends starts off at a beach,
we make our way on foot through the forest up a large hill to the town.
we get food, psychedelics
once they kick in it starts getting dark
we make our way back down the hill frantically, it's getting darker and darker
were running from something
once I get back down to the bottom of the hill and back to the beach it becomes apparent only one of us survived
it wasnt me, now im just a phantom observing the world around me and I watch my friend arrive and the beach is illuminated in purple light'

(I woke up at this point and wrote this down then fell back asleep)

I then had a small dream where I was stuck playing a video game that doesnt exist, it was just a weird combination of a whole heap i played in the past and I couldnt pick the character i wanted and was forced to play a character who had the same name as the girl I really like currently. I honestly cant remember what else happened but it was really bizarre
>>
Over the past 5 or 6 years I've had the same repeat dreams.

>I'm always in a classroom with people from my class and one of the teachers I had a crush on at the time.
>Siege situation, armed gunmen are going around the school
>I end up saving the class/saving the day etc.

wtf does it mean
>>
Had a dream where I was saying to my friends that it's impossible for me to be friends with someone I was in love with and then I ended talking to my ex after going to see her and the entire time I was carrying her around on my back
And it was kind of an "everything's going to be alright" sort of vibe from what she was saying. We broke up just a few months ago.
The next day she texted me and I'm spooked

>Make out with girl

I don't know why you think you're qualified to interpret dreams, but fine. Figure this one out, you or someone. It's been doing my head in ever since I had it.

Where most of my dreams are random nonsense, this is the single most vivid and coherent dream I've ever had. I usually wake up with only vague images and notions of what I might have dreamed the night before, but not with this dream.

Setting: I'm on a boardwalk. On one side are cafes and shops, on the other the ocean. It's a cold, grey, windy day. Off in the distance is a massive concrete structure of unknown origin/purpose. I notice it, puzzle over it for a second and then pay it no more heed. Surrounding me are students who have recently graduated university (but only the first year) and they're all wearing graduation gowns. They're all in little groups, surrounded by their friends and families, celebrating their day - taking pictures and whatnot. I'm in the center, alone, wearing normal clothes.

With nothing left to do, I turn up my jacket's collar, put my hands in my pockets and begin to walk away. I suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder and turn. I see a smiling face. I don't know who the man is, but I know he's gay. (inb4 fag. It doesn't bother me, I just wonder why my dream made this relevant).

Him: "Anon, why are you leaving?"
Me: "I just don't want anyone to see that there's no one here for me"
Him *kisses me on the cheek* "But I'm here for you"

I'm a bit confused at this point. I don't know if I should leave or stay.

Him: "Listen, Anon, you need to decide what to do next. Do you want to travel? Do you want to attend the next year of your school? Do you..."
Me: "I just want to sleep!"

This is the weird part. I said that out loud. This is the first time in my life I ever spoke in my sleep. Ironically, saying "I just want to sleep" is what woke me up and ended the dream.

This is the first time I've ever shared this. Weird, huh? Going to bed now. Maybe I'll dream the rest.
>>
>>17207406
>Continued because 2000 char limit
Good luck if anyone has the ability to interpret this shit. I'll check back in the morning. Even if it's un-interpret-able, feels good to get it out in the open.

Still, if ever I had a dream that had meaning, it was this one. Before anyone asks - no, I'm not currently in school.

>dog (small whitish terrier) jumps into bed, tries to lick my face
>lightly push him off
>jumps back up, now fluffier than before, tries to lick face again

>repeat ad nauseam until he's just a fluffy ball of soft fur with a tongue

I have a dream often that I'm kneeling, being slowly strangled by a bandana.
Nothing is holding it up, it's just wrapped around my neck and pulling backwards.
Familiar faces crowd around and begin to laugh at me.
I don't bother trying to ask for help because I know they wouldn't

Sometimes, instead of being strangled, a fimiliar face will lie me down over plastic and shoot me in the back of the head.
After I'm dead I retain consciousness. Everything is wet and cold. I can't move my eyes or even think, but I still experience.
It's a quiet serenity while the crowd forgets and continues talking among themselves.
Sometimes the impact will reposition me or they'll lie me down sloppy so my eyes can see them. Occasionally someone will make eye contact with me, before rejoining their conversation.
>>
>>17205949
To me the foxes and wolves indicate an a private collusion of 2 or more people coming against you. The fence is a metaphor. Right now you have these people blocked off from you. You have the high ground (on the hill) and they cannot get to you. Of course you do not know who is conspiring against you yet, thats why they are in the form of a wolf/fox.

>>17206052
You are about to lose someone in your life. Maybe you shrug it off because this person is not of the importance you once thought.

This dream is an ominous dream. Be wary of someone trying to deceive or blackmail you.

>>17206119
Penis envy :) I kid, i don't think it means anything.

>>17206131
I'm back, sorry for the delay.

This dream has 2 meanings. The fit man (bruce lee version) symbolizes that something is coming your way that will make you extremely happy in your life. Maybe financial.

The wheelchair man symbolizes setbacks and puzzlement you are going to encounter.

I think the fit man telling the other man to "work hard" is you reassuring yourself during this time of setback and sorrow.

>>17206155
This is a prediction that someone is going to harass/insult you to get you very pissed off.

Try to remain in control after a dream like that because you will be tested in your love life or any business dealings.

However, this has been 2 months. Maybe you have already went through it.
>>
>>17207232
Good morning.

Not much to decipher here. You pretty much know what that dream meant.

>>17207276
I think the running is the key part. You were running from danger. That means you will be exposed to some kind of debt/catastrophe/defeat etc. You will become hopeless at the thoughts of overcoming this and getting things back to the way they were.

Also seeing your friend running means she could be involved in this bad thing that happens and you are just worried for them.

2nd dream means nothing

>>17207295
This is a good dream. It means you are going to be revered/respected for a good feat you do.
>>
>>17205615
I had a dream a few weeks ago, can't remember it well.
But I remember people kept calling me a liar.
>>

Floating guy here. Fell asleep.

I'm usually floating a few inches to a foot off of the ground. It's more like I jump forward the ground and am stuck going forward for however long - usually a few seconds.
>>
Ive been dreaming about dying as i walk home from my friends house.
First by a man wearing a green turtlenrck sweater eith a bear head. The second time i witnessed a drug cartrl execution and i was brutally murdered.
>>
Hey OP great thread :) Any chance you'd know what taking care of horribly disfigured/wounded small animals and pets means? I've been having dreams like that for years. I feel disgusted and guilty and the same time in the dream, it's pretty strange.
>>
Every night for the past few weeks there's been the same girl in my dreams, but I don't remember her face. I'm madly in love with her every dream, and she loves me. Every time I wake up I feel depressed because I haven't loved someone like that in a long time.

Last night though, we were in a town and I would fly her everywhere in a small biplane. It was like time in my dream passed super fast, from when me and her were kids up until we were in our fourties I guess.
If it means anything, I'm actually scared of flying.
>>
>>17207340
Don't be spooked. Go with the flow and see what she has to say. The dream is a positive one.

>>17207382

>>17207534
Your adversary (or adversaries) are privately working to hurt you somehow.

>>17207795
Someone deceptive is going to cause you a lot of aggravation...if they haven't already.

>>17207832
Ok, well these dreams happened long ago so it's hard to really say what they mean now. I'm more looking for recent dreams.

However floating low to the ground could mean you are anxious/sick/apprehensive about something. But it's no worry because it's something you will overcome.

>>17207841
Same as the guy above. Some enemy or enemies you have are working to hurt you somehow. Also the bear head guy makes me feel like heartache and adversity are coming to you soon.

Some weeks ago I had a dream about an intruder getting in my house with a handgun, surprisingly I fought him off when he got in close range and dropped the gun, although he got it back and shot me in the arm, however somehow I manage to punch him and knock him out. After that I realized I didn't feel any pain in my arm so I woke up.
>>
>>17207848
Thanks.

>>17207848
Probably nothing if you have been having them for years. Maybe you just have a big heart for small animals and hate to think of their suffering.

>>17207870
I think this is a good dream. Something in the near future will bring you pleasure and block out the concerns of every day life. Maybe a great relationship.

>>17207972
It does matter. It's a good dream though. It means you will be triumphant in some kind of obligation/commitment. In either work, school or passion.

It may even be the sign of an early marriage/engagement?

>>17208081
If the dream is too old, it might be too late. But generally a dream like that represents you overcoming an adversary in your life.
>>
I'm off to lunch

I will answer some more later if anyone is interested.
>>
>>17208125
Yay, triumph. I'm not sure what sort though. Work is going well I'd say, generally. I'm out of school already and working as a broker, and I'm happy with my life. I figured the dream was just odd, not in a bad way, just absurd I guess, that's why I asked. Thanks anyway Anon.

Also not much chance of marriage, my partner died a year ago and I'm not really looking for a new one for now.

This kid is probably sitting at his comp with one of those dream interpretation books that you can get at LITERALLY ANY BOOKSTORE.
>>
I have reoccurring dreams where I'm scavenging to survive. The setting is always "post-apocalyptic" and recently the places I scavenge are always abandoned factories and offices. I use to scavenge homes. But that hasn't been in any recent dreams. When I was scavenging homes, I felt content and sense of exploration in those dreams. Now since I'm scavenging offices and factories, I have this intense sense of urgency and anxiety/ adrenaline. There are always a few people in my "group" and we work together.

Last night in my dream, we found a building which had a room that had computer monitors all over. It was like a mini tech-center. This is the second time I've encountered this room. Both those times have been the most recent setting in the dream. There's a hallway in the back of the room but I haven't been able to go through the hallway because it is has visible traps set up. I wake up as soon as I attempt to go through the hallway.

I can provide more info if needed.
>>
i have 2

first one. seems to be recurring but it diferent settings. theres really strange architecture, like doors, hallways, stairs to nowhere, strange angles. some type of high being trying to communicate. im trying to find something but im not necessarily lost or uneasy

2nd dream. had this when i was really little. i was hanging out with my bros specically the mario bros and other characters of the franchise plus the land before time characters. we trying to evade a very scary unseen force

actually bonus 3rd because i forgot and its the most interesting. im in a HUGE domed building but everything is pitch black except for a halo of light a the very high up top. im surround my humans that have their heads and legs severed and crawl with there arms and they are all trying to reach up for the light. my mood in this dream is "lol wtf" and i dont feel like im the 'same' as these maimed people so i feel that im still intact
>>
>>17208244
You are fooling around with in something shameful that's going to leave you with a bad name.

>>17208261

>>17208303
I dont think the first one means anything.

2nd one was too long ago

3rd one is interesting.

I think it means someone poor is reaching out to you for help. if this dream happened recently, you should look for someone in your life that may need help.

>back in middleschool as my current age.

>wandering around after school
>see some asshole kid who looks like an asshole
>whatever
>Keep walking down this big tree shaded road on a cloudless day p happy with myself.

What does this meme?
>>
I have had a few dreams around this theme

In all cases I was exploring somewhere with another person. The locations and people were varied. For some reason I had to climb along something and eventually I got stuck climbing; one time it was on a piece of wood hanging off the roof of a cave, another time it was in the girders around the ceiling of a warehouse or something like that... I got trapped in this place and felt a strong feeling of fear... I can never remember any more after that, I think I usually wake up at that point.

Also when I was younger I used to frequently dream that I was walking to school (highschool / secondary) and at some point on the journey I realised I had forgotten my shoes, and I was paralysed with indecision because I didn't know if I should go home and get shoes and then arrive late, or just go in without shoes and hop nobody noticed. I've only had that one a couple of times in the last few years but it used to be more frequent.

Something disappointing coming.

>>17208441
This just means any future plans you were working on will not turn out as good as you thought they would. Not that they will be bad...just not as good.

>>17208461
It's ok, you don't have to give more details. I just thought there might be something big you left out.

But you have 2 sets of dreams here. The first one is a "good dream". When anxiety is felt in a dream, it's often a good indicator. It revitalizes your mind.

I think the dream last night was more of the same.

>>17208572
You being king is sort of a metaphor of you being above your friends or coworkers. I think the ruins means some unseen problem is going to come up and drive a wedge in between you and a friend or lover. Or maybe you will find yourself sick.

Regardless of what it may be, the ruins are seen as a downfall for you.

Once I had a dream where I was in an airplane that was flying low over the ocean. Out the window I could see the sun setting, and it was huge. It was a dark red, but the sky was bright blue. It was too close to get dark. But eclipsed in the middle was the moon, blocking out most of the sun with a harsh black. It was very pretty, I tried to paint it once but was shit.

Which anyways is when the dream starts to fall apart as I watch Santa Claus murder a bunch of people on the plane and then rip off the top to make it a convertible thing and puts on sun glasses and just takes off to rule the world and cause the apocalypse.

I watch the asshole murder my friends. I turned commando though and started hunting him. That was fun!

(I don't think there's much meaning but it's fun to type out my dreams, they get so ludicrous.)

I had a dream that I was shitposting on the internet pretending to have some kind of supernatural capability to interpret dreams and discern their real life consequences. What does that mean?

I've had some really crazy ones. Here's one of them :

>Am a police officer in some town called Nelson
>Town has a contract with the undead of a nearby mansion to leave them alone
>was brokered by a local name Grady after a towns person shot an undead that wandered too close and the town almost got wiped out by the undead in revenge
>some guy shows up and wants to unseal one of the crypts
>call the mansion, a ghost named Amina picks up
>she knows he was sent by her family, says no
>Some time later a huge bunch of soldiers show up and head towards the mansion
>run through the sewers to get to the mansion
>reach an overpass infront of the mansion, suddenly some guy is there with me
>he jumps off (it was really high) and disappears
>manage to get into the mansion, some scientist looking guys are there and running away from the troops
>dream ends

The thing is that dream interpretation without a person background, relations with others , experience. Its pretty much a biased opinion caused by ones meaning of dream symbolism.

I often have a dream where I'm flitting through the hallways of my old high school. But in this one particular one I had an uneasy feeling that this school was the place of a mass shooting. I look to the floor and I see a large old faded bloodstain. People start screaming. I look around to see what's wrong and there it is, the feeling of doom. Everyone's screaming because a meteor is hurtling toward earth. It's the end of all of us. I say, "I love you..." and 3 piano notes play, I assume the start of a sad song. Then the meteor hits and everything is gone and I awaken.

yeah they do, if you can remember them at night time, the ones in the morning never come true
mine take about two to three days to come true

>gf's twin has her legs spread open
>I feel as if she wants me to fuck her so she can ruin our relationship
>I tell her I can't
>Tell gf, she starts crying
>as she's about to say something gf wakes me up in real life

What does this mean?

It's actually the opposite. Typically morning dreams are more accurate while night dreams are less so.

I'm glad I can help you, anonymous person on a thai foot massage board.

Night dreams are usually a collection of daily thoughts that your brain processes. While morning dreams are formed from a clean slate so to speak.

Perhaps you didn't see the word, "Typically".

At the beginning of this year I met this girl and we became friends, after I got a crush on her and she rejected me our friendship fell apart, but a week ago she came to me and told me that she dreamed of me and we were hugging and she was happy, but after that we haven't really talk about nothing, so now im getting paranoid about why would she dream that.
