Hey /adv/, my cousin was caught shoplifting three years ago from this day. He hasnt gone in to court once since then and has a single warrant out for his arrest ($200 I think?).

He's cleaned up his act since then but refuses to pay off the fine since lives off paycheck to paycheck.
Should I continue trying to convince him to get it payed off or will he be fine?

I would but he has to actually show up in court. Btw, should have mentioned that he was 21 at the time of arrest. Almost 24 now.

When he gets pulled over for a minor traffic violation or they just run his plates for the hell of it he's going to be boned unless someone covers his bail.

Actually he has been pulled over for a broken headlight twice. Both cops let him go too. 84101 police.
