What are some ways to cool a bedroom during the summer? All I have is one of those tall standing fans and I keep my blinds shut. No ceiling though and I can't fuck with the AC which is kept at fucking 78F. Would two fans work? Add a humidifier?

Whoa thanks. I'll check that out.
A window fan is your best shot.
If you've got the cash to throw at this problem, a good box fan at your door would help, too. Establish a channel for airflow. Bring in air through the window fan, and throw the hot crap out the door with the box fan.
Humidifier will only make it hotter.

Oh, and block light from your windows externally, not internally. Blinds won't keep the UV from heating the air in your room.
This.
Desk fan.
Styrofoam box.
Piping.
Bags of ice inside.

Please don't do this, not with this design at least.
I swear, the people who make these things have no clue how airflow works, or convection for that matter.
