I have a dell inspiron 15 3521 with an i3 processor. I'm on a budget, so I'm debating whether to buy an i5 motherboard replacement or just shop for a faster computer all together. My goal is to be able to play KSP with no lag.

Things to note:
- there is no guarantee that the new motherboard will fit correctly
- faster proc needs more heat reducing "stuff" which means the existing heat pipe and fans may not work
- video connector to screen may be different or the screen may not be supported

To be honest, you are better off saving and buying a new computer.
