Actually, you'll find it is. Hence why I said extrapolate to social settings. If you're going to argue that dating is an equal playing field for males and females, no one is going to take you seriously. Seriously. Only an idealist/feminist would try to claim it's "equal", there are only males and females, someone has to have it better.

All this is doing is highlighting why men, on average will have lower. Men WILL fuck pretty much everything. That, however, doesn't mean they are going to. You said it yourself that females will be more selective. They want the top, desirable men. All this does is shows that most men are going to struggle to land people willing to have sex with them, which again, is going to make the statistics for median/average that much lower.
