1)

It's not about improving your life, it's about not worrying about it.
The trick is to be absolutely mindless, not to think about your problems, don't reflect on them, don't think about how bad you are having it.

I still don't have a job, never had a relationship, have no friends, all my family thinks I'm a piece of shit good for nothing, etc. Guess what? By reframing it and not thinking about it, I don't care now, and I cry myself to sleep much much less than in the past.
Something good to train yourself in not thinking is meditation, pratice every day 20 minutes, focus on breathing and nothing else.

2)

Don't worry about the future.

Sure, you might be in your 30s, never had a job, have no education, and being homeless in the future is a very real possibility one day. Just don't think about it, let the future you deal with the problem when one day it arrives at your doorstep. Do things like playing video games, watching a tv series, reading a novel, and things that will keep you distracted, and occupy your time.

3)

Do drugs.

If you can afford it, find a delear in your location and start doing drugs. They will help you by taking you out of your misery for a moment, and taking you on a trip somewhere else instead. You don't have to spend too much money, for example you can eat brownies with weed in them, instead of smoking, and they will hit you much harder.

Bahaha.. What is this bait?
You're telling people to become ignorant and ignore their emotional and real world problems. Eventually this will catch up to you when you least expect it. The more unaware you are, the more it will impact you.
1 year.. I don't know what the context of your depression is, but I doubt such a short time is enough to be giving anyone advice.. So.. Is your post really a cry for help?

I'm just sharing what I found to be helpful for me in particular. I know it is not the typical "get your shit together" advice. But I tried that for so long and it was only making me more depressed about how I wasn't getting anywhere.
I think my approach may be of help to others, as it was for me.

You should probably stop worrying about it and accept that he loves her more than you. When you come to terms with it you'll see that you are still lucky for having him in your life paying you some attention at all! Some of us never had someone special like you do, so be grateful. Also, stop thinking about it, you can't change it.

Live in an urban city then come back.
Look at UNBIASED research that doesn't come from liberal faux-scientists then come back.

Cool it, Shatner, you don't need to capitalize the words you're writing. Just because you don't like the people doing research doesn't make them wrong.
