Is small claims worth it? Or is there a statue of limitations on what you can claim? My neighbor (who shares a building wall with me) is a meth and crackhead. He was in and out of treatment for a year and a half. He had escorts over all the time, and the police were at our building every other day for a while. The whole building felt like we were sleepless zombies living in a warzone, as he shouted paranoid tirades, threw furniture, etc. One of his escorts even called the police on him for domestic battery. The man was involuntarily hospitalized 3x. His parents tried to get custody over his assets, but no dice.

I am finally moving away from this fucker since I've aged about a decade from the lack of sleep, constantly being woken up by paranoid rampages about how the guys in the trees are coming to fucking shoot us.

I'm finally moving the fuck out of this hellhole, but want some kind of distress compensation. I've slept in my car just to get away from this shithead.

The HOA couldn't evict him since the bastard has tons of cash and bought his place outright (probably from drug money, since we saw drug deals go down).

Is there anything I can do, other than just forget about it and move on? (literally)
