What are some ways to be a hermit while making money? It's probably because I'm depressed but I enjoy social isolation. I also have the capability to stay behind a computer screen for upwards of 12 hours a day.
Should I just learn how to code? Are there any other viable methods of making a livable wage?
(I can always fall back for working for my parents Vape Shop but I'd prefer just staying in my basement)

Get a bitcoin mining rig and learn to code

Professional software development usually involves teamwork and daily interaction with coworkers.
Become a monk.
you aren't looking for coding, you are looking for remote data entry. which isn't a real thing except in the rare as fuck cases where it is.
honestly though this isn't going to work for you, you'd be way better off getting a job that just doesn't require much socialization. warehouse work. kiosk dude at a parking lot? library? etc.
but who are we kidding OP, do you honestly think you are going to do anything hermit or no?
google mTurk and try to make some money slogging through that shit, bet you can't make $10 before you quit
